"I don't really like those pajamas. Could you have someone get my own from my room?" Rosalind Lowell said, her face flushing with embarrassment. "If that's not possible, I can just sleep on the floor."

"The wedding dress is thick, so it'll be fine as padding on the floor." If she had known just how expensive the gown was, she probably wouldn't have been able to say such a thing.
