Rosalind Lowell and Alaric Davenport returned to their room. The decorated bridal suite brought back vivid memories of the previous night's awkwardness, and she couldn't help but blush. "Looks like there's only one bed today, too."
"Our parents are here. What did you expect?" Alaric Davenport said, sitting on the bench at the foot of the bed. "You go first."
While Rosalind was showering, Alaric Davenport picked up his phone. After checking a message, he found a number and dialed. "Have the files sent to the old family estate."
Ethan Lockwood, on the other end of the line, sounded surprised. "You haven't stayed at the old estate in years. You get married and suddenly you're willing to move back in?"
"Mm."
Alaric hummed in acknowledgement. "What are the results of the investigation?"
"It's just what you expected. Petty little tricks from a foolish woman. Besides, didn't your company already ban her account?"
"Banned from all platforms."
