Multiple months later, a couple of things happened during the months
A Category 2 Gate opened near Rain's school, luckily, a couple of Twilight Keepers were nearby-to watch over Rain-and successfully killed the Gate Guardian without any casualties
Kai got informed about a movie in production about the Forgotten Shores. And it had a romance subplot of Caster and Sunny fighting for Nephis love which gotten a laugh out of Effie
Apparently they gotten the survivors of the Forgotten Shore to share their part of the story to make the movie
And that was a quick recap of what happened
And that brings us to the present
Effie was cursing whoever out while she was digging
Effie threw the shovel and screamed
"Ah screw it! I'm taking my break!" Effie stomped her way to the camp
The rest of the Twilight Keepers rolled their eyes and continued digging
Cassie was standing nearby because Effie, Kai, and the Twilight Keepers didn't want her to dig
After a few hours of digging, a Twilight Keeper shouted that he found something
Everyone walked over and looked at the small sapling, they made way for Cassie to take a look(honestly idk how)
Cassie nodded, confirming that it was the right sapling. Everyone cheered and made a celebration, mostly it was just Effie and everyone played along
Most of them made camp and some-including Cassie, Kai, and Effie-went to the Gateway to enter the waking world
Cassie's pod opened and she walked out. She dressed herself and ate before going to bed mentally exhausted
'For the next few weeks we would need to repair the ship' Cassie sighed before going to sleep
During the next few weeks, the Twilight Keepers fought against the puppets outside the ship while Kai went inside to kill the centre of the vines
Kai's leg nearly got bitten off by a strange chest abomination but it ran away almost immediately and injured a few Twilight Keepers in its way and it jumped to another island and the island fell apart and it fell to the abyss with it
Kai fought against a Saint and it pointed at a small sword lodged into the wall, Kai tied the knife to an arrow and let it fly towards it's heart, killing it
Kai received a Memory and they managed to kill every Nightmare Creature there
They made camp and started to rebuild the ship. For a few days, they rebuild the ship as best as they could and planted the sapling in the middle of the beautiful ship
They set sail to the Sky Below and after a few days of descending into he abyss, they found an obsidian tower and landed on it
They set camp there and Cassie was left to navigate the place with Kai and Effie
Three of them found an arm and decided to fly over it and luckily they managed to
Continuing their acend, they found a few things that didn't pique their interest until they found a runic circle
Effie held Cassie's shoulder
"Are you sure it's safe to go near?" Effie stared at the circle with doubt
Cassie nodded and started to walk towards the runic circle. She knelt and touched the circle and fed it essence, as it glowed faintly
"We take turns to feed it essence" Cassie turned to where she thought they were
Effie and Kai looked at each other before shrugging
They took turns nurturing the runic circle and after hours of feeding it essence
It glowed with bright light then it stopped. Cassie took a step into the runic circle out of Effie and Kai absolute shock and despair
They watched Cassie disappear into a whirlwind of sparks
Effie immediately let out a yelp and ran in after her. Kai flew in like a bullet
When they appeared on the other side, they saw the same tower in the Sky Below, but this time, it was pristine white instead of obsidian black, and the sky was blue instead of pitch black
Effie and Kai was mesmerized by the sight, forgetting that Cassie was right in front of them
Cassie continued to walk forward to a massive tower, going through a dragons skeleton jaw and entering the tower
Effie and Kai followed behind her. All three of them felt a strange pull on them when they approached the mysterious tower
When they entered, they found a strange thing in the middle, surrounded by seven chains connected to the ground
"Nope, I want to become a Master sure, but this is too early" Effie grabbed Kai and Cassie and bolted out of the tower
After running out of the tower, all three of them collapsed onto the ground, panting heavily
They relaxed and went back to the Gateway in Santuary of Noctis after explaining everything to the Twilight Keepers (How did they get back? Don't know, don't care)
Cassie came out of her pod and showered, walked out of her house and sighed
'Time to watch a movie 2 seconds in advance I guess'
Cassie journeyed across the city and found herself in a building next to Kai and Effie
Kai pushed Effie as Cassie placed her hand on his shoulder as he guided the two ladies
Kai helped Cassie sit down near the front row and pushed and helped Effie sit down next to Cassie as he needed to go somewhere else
The lights dimmed and the movie started, a young grey-haired woman appeared on the screen, she was standing in front of a massive gate of a incredible building
A couple of scenes happened that Cassie just enjoyed with nostalgia. Until the main part of the Forgotten Shore appeared
It mostly showed Nephis meeting Cassie and then meeting Sunny, but what Cassie saw surprised her a little
'Why did they cast a hot 20 year old for Sunny?'
The movie continued without much difference to what actually happened other than the fact that Harus died to multiple people catching him off-guard
Watching everyone fighting for their lives during the siege of the Crimson Spire was quite inspiring even though it was all a screen
The the scene turned sad as 'Caster' was coughing on the ground while 'Nephis' and 'Sunny' was on each of his sides
"Kill that Nightmare Creature for me, so that my sacrifice will not be in vain" 'Caster' was coughing blood while smiling
'Nephis' and 'Sunny' were crying, same for the audience. Cassie turned to Effie
"Sunny would probably destroy the entire cast if he sees this" Cassie grinned
"Oh you're underestimating him, he would probably kill their familys as well" Efide grinned
The movie went on as 'Sunny' and 'Nephis' fought against the Crimson Spire
As 'Nephis' and 'Sunny' hid behind a rubble, 'Nephis' grabbed 'Sunny's' shoulder and said
"Leave, I can buy you enough time to escape"
'Sunny' laughed then shook his head
"I never liked Caster but I won't let his sacrifice go in vain..." 'Sunny' walked out of the rubble then turned around to look at 'Nephis'
"And I would never leave you" 'Sunny' grinned and fought
The audience cried
They kept fighting until the Crimson Spire died and collapsed on itself
And the movie ended there
"Huh. That was pretty good if I'm going to be honest" Cassie shrugged
Effie nodded. Cassie stood up and pushed Effie with her to a restaurant to eat
Effie ordered everything twice, Cassie just ate some simple dishes
Cassie and Effie ate in silence, well Cassie tried, Effie didn't bother
Cassie ate before saying
"is it fine to challenge the Second Nightmare before winter solstice?"
Effie stopped her eating and stared at Cassie before shrugging
"I'm fine whenever, who are we bringing with us?"
Cassie stayed quiet before saying
"Me, you, Kai, and any of the Twilight Keepers that are willing to come"
Effie nodded and continued eating
