A few days passed and she was back to being an energetic female again . Eva wanted to reconcile with Kyle it didn't matter what Shaun had said to him. When she saw him, he ignored her and everyone around saw that but that wasn't her goal . She grabbed him by his hand and pulled him to one of the professors office, "Ignoring me cause of what Shaun said is insane ."she said and he fixed his glasses ."Insane is what I should be calling you right now . Do you really not care about my life. Jesus Eva you're a goddamn dangerous person disguised as good. " he said and she ran her fingers through her hair. "Did you ever try to consult me or ask me why ?"she said and he shook his head.
"He ditched me in the middle of nowhere, he said he would kill me Eva . Do you really want me to explain what he's capable off. Wait what is he to you ?"he asked her and she blinked several times, "Eva answer me ."Kyle begged, she leaned against a wall. "He's my sister's husband now my husband just on paper. I did that to survive. "She quickly said and Kyle stepped back ,from her.
"What ?"he said confused ,"He's my husband. I'm Mrs Roméro but hey hey I'm still the same Eva you met that day ."she said trying to touch him he swatted her hand away. Eva slapped him,"He doesn't even know my favorite color. He doesn't even know what I prefer on a Saturday night. Let alone how freaking funny I am . But you do cause you are or were my friend ."she said her voice breaking in the end. "Atleast I wanted to be remembered without any artifacts on me but I guess that'd be too late to change right ?."she said turning around to leave. A round of applause to Shaun ,he always achieves what he wants. He won , she said in her head. He fucking won, she will never have ang friends besides him and his broken maids in his torn mansion and he achieved that , yhe only thing close to humanity she had left. He found it and ripped it apart from her grip , she skipped most of her classes that day and made it to his office.
She broke each and every precious thing she saw infront of her ,he was in a meeting ,bu the time he got back she was laying on top of his ceo table with her bat between her legs , the skirt she wore ripped to form a slit up to her thigh,the shirt she wore ,she deliberately unbuttoned it showing her lace bra and breasts underneath it ,her hair disheveled. Shaun leaned against the door with his arms crossed over his chest ,"What the fuck is this ?"he asked and she shrugged sitting up straight as she laughed. "Suprise husband ! I thought you might need renovations over your new office seemingly how you thought it would be fantastic for you to mess with the only friend I actually had in this god forsaken fucking doll house you made for me !"she screamed getting off the table with her bat as she made her way to him .
"Oh great, that means he got the memo right?"he said watching her charge towards him . He still stayed calm , he really thought she was going to beat him instead she threw the bat away from her and walked past him. He grabbed her by her waist. Her back against his front ,she didn't struggle or scream she just ket him pick her up and guide her to his biggest window view of the city from his office. "The risks of having weaknesses is what changes and person ,little bird."he said brushing her hair away from her neck , "If you want to keep something safe it's better to lock it in a transparent cage so that it can see how the world whithers away. " he added , "So if you truly want to protect that Hernandez boy all you have to do is watch him like the guardian you are to him right now. " he said ,kissing her neck as she broke out in tears . "No weaknesses ,means no more fights like this between us ."he said softly his lips never leaving her exposed bare neck .
"You know one thing that I despize the most from you , Shaun ?"she said softly her voice cracking in the end ,her paused with his kisses . "No matter how much you may have won in life through your actions . The glass infront of us will always show you why beautiful things can't stay for too long in your life."she then turned to face him with a small crooked smile . "This very same glass is your reflection, and honestly I'd rather be in a ditch than be stuck with my truth witnessing how low I can be. I'll admit you won , you have control over me you tamed me . But if you think for a second youll ever be happy and win my heart or anyone's heart then you're wrong . Cause this very same view is how my heart will ever be for you. A transparent cage you can't even have ."she said walking past him her shoulder brushing against his arm. "Oh and if you ever come over to my dorm again ? I'll fucking leave. " she said with finality grabbed his coat and wore it as she left his office. He stood there processing her words ,atleast she covered herself that means she takes this marriage contract seriously thats what he thought.
