In the Military base, codename Fortress
The loud footsteps of the Astartes could be heard throughout the military base.
"MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!, WE GOT TO GET TO FRONT LINE!" said an Astartes loudly towards his unit while also signaling them to enter the futuristic spaceship.
After they entered the Spaceship, it departed heading towards the front lines for battle.
Inside that very same fortress stood a tall man with long white hair and white wings, observing with sadness as all their soldiers were sent to the incoming battle that could possibly be their last.
"Is it time?, old friend" asked Eldrin.
Erskine turned towards Eldrin, who was clad in master-crafted dark armour with his scythe in his hands, clearly ready for battle.
But he wasn't the only one prepared for battle, Erskine himself was wearing a majestic golden armour, also wielding a golden greatsword; both their amour was specially designed to not hinder their wings.
Erskine put on his helmet and answered.
"Yes"
After Eldrin heard that, he thought"A king fighting his own battles, that will be a sight"
Somewhere in deep space was an alien fleet rapidly moving towards Earth.
Inside the sanctuary, was a tall purple humanoid male sitting on a throne, he was Thanos, and on his left hand was a golden gauntlet with two stones of different colours, one was a purple stone and the other a yellow one, both of which were embedded in it.
Feint footsteps echoed in the previously silent hall, a grey, slender alien with a big nose walked in and kneeled while saying.
"My lord, an enemy fleet has formed a defensive barrier around planet Earth, what are your orders?"
Thanos thought for a while and then finally spoke.
"Destroy them; they cannot be allowed to hinder my destiny"
A few moments after Thanos orders.
Inside the mothership of the human empire's fleet.
"Incoming attack on our fleet sir" said an Astartes calmly to a Custodian.
The custodian was not surprised by his words, and said with a cold voice.
"Activate the tesseract-powered force fields; arc-powered ones won't hold for long"
"Yes sir" answered the Astartes with a salute.
Inside the sanctuary, the slender grey alien could be seen coldly watching the opposing fleet being bombarded.
"This is your fate for opposing Thanos will" thought the slender grey alien coldly.
But then his eyes widened slightly with shock from what his seen.
The opposing fleet was completely unharmed, not even one spaceship of theirs was damaged.
"Impossible" mattered the grey alien in disbelief, how could they possess the power to resist us, we possess the most advanced technology in the universe"
The grey alien wasted no time and went to inform Thanos.
Thanos was sitting in his throne, frowning at what he heard, and after a few moments, he spoke with a serious tone.
"No force field has ever managed to resist our weapons"
Thanos then rose from his throne, his gauntlet glowed purple.
But then.
BAAAAAM!
The whole spaceship shook, the loud sound of metal getting hit echoed throughout the spaceship.
BAAAAAM!
The already dented hole in the spaceship's metal wall dented even more, now one hit away from completely breaking.
Thanos' usually calm face showed a trace of vigilance; his purple glowing gauntlet now glowed even more intensely.
But then Something or someone silently appeared behind Thanos, who was focused on the dented metal wall.
The shadows on the ground moved, forming a spike that was about to Pierce Thano's back.
PIERCE!
The gruesome sound of flesh being pierced filled the room.
However, strangely, Thanos' subordinates were unfazed, and the shadow figure noticed and said.
"Well played, Thanos"
PIERCE!
the sound of flesh? Getting pierced filled the room yet again.
Thanos pierced body slowly disintegrated.
Appearing behind the shadow figure with his gauntlet impaled through its stomach.
"You cannot defeat destiny, dread it, run from it, destiny will arrive all the same, and it's here, or should I say, I am" said Thanos while looking towards a certain direction.
4 figures appeared in the direction Thanos was looking at.
One was a tall man clad in golden armour, with white wings wielding a greatsword.
The second one was a man wearing a black panther suit; he also seemed to have a black tail.
Note: T'Chaka had taken the evolution serum, which evolved him into a human-Panther-hybrid. He now possesses fangs, retractable claws in both his feet and hands, a black tail, his skin had grown darker to match his tail, his eye pupils became purple, and his hair became wavy, pitch black, and grew to shoulder length.
The third one was another man wearing a sleeveless white armour with golden trims, and a white hood; on his ankles were tiny white wings.
And the fourth, was a man wearing a black spandex suit with only his mouth visible.
Thanos seemed to notice that those four figures were too calm seeing their dead Ally.
Suddenly, a voice interrupted the tense atmosphere.
"Are you powerful enough to embody destiny's will, Thanos?"
The body impaled by Thano's gauntlet disintegrated; it was a shadow clone all along.
Thanos was surprised that he had been fooled, something extremely unusual for a being as old as him.
But his face turned calm again, and he said in a solemn voice.
"Embodying destiny's will requires not only power, but an undying will, both of which I am fortunate to have"
The shadow figure suddenly changed, transforming into a tall figure with long, wavy black hair and black wings, he wore a beautiful dark armour, also wielding a dark scythe; he was Eldrin
Eldrin gave the four figures a look.
Upon seeing Eldrin's signal, the four figures moved instantly, each rushing towards a subordinate of Thanos.
Eldrin turned his gaze towards Thanos and teleported behind him, and at the same time swung his scythe horizontally, aiming to cut Thanos in half.
CLANG!
The sound of metal colliding with metal filled the room.
Thanos, at some point had turned, and in his hands appeared a double-edged sword seemingly out of nowhere, blocking Eldrin's Scythe.
However, Eldrin had anticipated that and had already created several spikes aimed at Thanos' abdomen.
However, upon impact, the spikes were destroyed as if they had hit something beyond their durability.
Eldrin wasn't surprised.
Thanos simply used the power stone to coat his whole body, rendering him invulnerable.
Both figures fought with their weapons, clashing with each other.
CLANG!CLANG!
CLANG!
Thanos used the Mind Stones' illusion capabilities multiple times, attempting to fatally wound Eldrin, however each time without fail, Eldrin turned his body intangible.
But then Thanos ' double-edged sword glowed purple.
Eldrin's eyes hardened, and he thought.
"So, the real fight finally begins"
