JAY-JAY POV
I woke up to screaming.
Actual screaming.
"WHO STOLE MY BLANKET?!"
I opened my eyes slowly, still half asleep, only to see Felix aggressively pulling a blanket while Blaster refused to let go.
"IT'S MINE."
"YOU WERE USING THREE."
"THAT'S NOT THE POINT."
Groaning filled the classroom.
Mattresses everywhere.
Blankets half on the floor.
Pillows thrown around like a war happened overnight.
And somehow…
Section E looked worse in the morning.
I sat up slowly, my silky red wine night suit slightly wrinkled now, hair messy from sleep while one AirPod was still somehow in my ear.
Cin looked at me and immediately gasped dramatically.
"Bro she actually slept like a princess while we suffered."
"I hate all of you," I muttered sleepily.
My voice sounded rough from just waking up.
Unfortunately…
someone noticed immediately.
Keifer.
Of course.
He was leaning against the wall nearby already awake, black shirt slightly messy, hair ruined from sleep in the most unfairly attractive way possible.
And he was staring again.
Annoying.
Very annoying.
Then he smirked slightly.
"You sound cute in the morning."
I stared at him with zero emotion.
"Go away."
"No."
"Please."
"No."
The boys started laughing instantly.
Meanwhile Yuri sat beside me calmly, looking much more awake than everyone else.
"How are you alive this early?" Rory asked him tiredly.
"I slept normally."
"We hate you," David answered immediately.
Yuri laughed quietly before looking at me.
"You slept okay?"
See?
Normal.
Peaceful.
A good human being.
I nodded slightly.
"Better than expected."
Keifer spoke immediately.
"She kicked her blanket off twice."
I froze.
Slowly.
Then looked at him in horror.
"…Why do you know that?"
His smirk widened.
"I notice things."
The classroom erupted.
"HE WATCHED HER SLEEP."
"BROTHER IS GONE."
Cin rolled dramatically across his mattress.
Meanwhile my face became hot instantly.
"You're creepy."
"You looked cold."
"I survived."
"Barely. You steal blankets in your sleep."
"I DO NOT."
"You literally stole mine."
Silence.
I blinked once.
"…What?"
Keifer looked completely relaxed.
"You rolled over at like three in the morning and stole half my blanket."
The room LOST CONTROL.
"THREE IN THE MORNING?!"
"WHY WERE YOU AWAKE WATCHING HER?"
"THIS MAN NEEDS HELP."
I buried my face into a pillow immediately.
"This section is a disease."
Keifer laughed quietly again.
Then before I could recover—
he suddenly tossed something at me.
I caught it automatically.
A cold juice box.
I blinked.
"Oh."
"You skipped dinner last night," he said casually. "Drink it."
The room went weirdly quieter for a second.
Because despite all the flirting and teasing—
that sounded genuine.
Like he actually cared.
And that made my chest feel annoyingly soft again.
I looked away quickly.
"…Thanks."
Keifer smiled instantly at the quiet thank you.
Dangerous mistake.
Because now he looked way too happy over one word.
Cin pointed dramatically.
"HE'S SMILING LIKE HE WON THE LOTTERY."
"He probably thinks she loves him now," Felix said.
Keifer shrugged calmly.
"She does."
"KEIFER."
"What? I'm manifesting."
Everyone burst out laughing again.
Even Yuri shook his head smiling slightly.
And somehow…
for a few minutes…
everything felt normal again.
No fights.
No tension.
Just Section E being chaotic together.
Then suddenly—
the classroom door opened.
The principal walked in.
Everyone straightened immediately.
Her eyes slowly scanned the disaster around the room.
Blankets.
Pillows.
Half asleep students.
Then her gaze stopped on Keifer.
Who was still looking at me.
She sighed deeply.
"…I leave you people alone for one night and somehow it gets worse."
Cin whispered quietly,
"She's talking about Keifer."
"She's definitely talking about Keifer," David agreed.
The principal crossed her arms.
"Get ready. Parents will arrive soon."
Silence.
Then collective horror spread across the room.
Rory sat up instantly.
"…Parents?"
Oh no.
Absolute disaster.
