JAY-JAY POV
The next morning was peaceful.
Suspiciously peaceful.
Which, in Section E's world, usually meant disaster was loading.
I was barely out of my room when I heard it.
"WAIT—SHE WHAT?!"
Rory's voice.
Loud. Emotional. Unnecessary.
I sighed instantly.
"…I knew this was coming."
I walked into the living room.
And immediately regretted it.
Everyone was already there.
ALL of them.
Even Luka sitting on the couch like he was the CEO of chaos.
And Robin?
Robin had a phone in his hand like he was delivering breaking news.
Cin looked like she hadn't slept.
Cyrus was calm… but suspiciously interested.
Adrian was leaning back, arms crossed, watching everything quietly.
Keifer stood near the side.
Too calm.
Too quiet.
That alone made me nervous.
Robin grinned at me.
"So it's true?"
I narrowed my eyes.
"…What is true."
Rory jumped in immediately.
"THAT YOU FORGAVE KEIFER?!"
Silence.
I froze.
Keifer didn't move.
But I felt his eyes flicker toward me.
I exhaled slowly.
"…Who told you that?"
Robin slowly raised his phone.
"I have sources."
"Your sources are TikTok edits."
"Still valid."
I groaned.
Cin literally screamed.
"WAIT SO IT'S REAL?!"
Felix stood up dramatically.
"THE ICE QUEEN HAS MERCY?!"
"I will throw you out of this window," I said calmly.
Luka clapped.
"She forgave him!"
"Luka," I warned.
But it was too late.
The entire room exploded.
"NO WAY!"
"OH MY GOD!"
"FINALLY!"
"THIS IS BETTER THAN DRAMA!"
Cyrus actually smiled slightly.
"That was faster than expected."
"I hate all of you," I muttered.
Robin leaned forward, eyes sparkling.
"So what changed?"
That question made the room go quiet again.
All eyes on me.
I looked at Keifer for half a second.
He wasn't reacting.
But I saw it.
The small tension in his jaw.
Like he was waiting.
I rolled my eyes.
"…He explained."
That was enough.
Instant chaos again.
"EXPLAINED WHAT?!"
"DETAILS!"
"WE NEED CONTEXT!"
"No," I said immediately.
Adrian finally spoke from the side, calm as ever.
"So it's settled."
I looked at him.
"…Yes."
He nodded slightly.
"That's good."
Short.
Simple.
But genuine.
Then—
Robin suddenly threw an arm around Keifer's shoulder.
"WELCOME BACK TO THE NORMAL SIDE OF LIFE."
Keifer looked at him.
"…Don't touch me."
"Too late, we're bonding."
Keifer pushed him off immediately.
The room erupted laughing again.
Even I couldn't stop a small smile.
Then Cin gasped dramatically again.
"So you guys are okay now?"
I crossed my arms.
"Define okay."
Keifer finally spoke quietly.
"We're fine."
That one word made something in the room shift.
Not tension.
Relief.
REAL relief.
Rory literally collapsed onto the couch.
"THANK GOD."
Felix fist-pumped.
"I CAN SLEEP PEACEFULLY AGAIN."
"You don't even sleep properly," I said.
"EMOTIONAL SLEEP."
Luka smiled proudly.
"Good. I like when everyone is not fighting."
I sighed.
"…We weren't fighting."
Robin pointed at me.
"You almost threw a chair yesterday."
"That was emotional communication."
"That's violence."
"Same thing."
The room laughed again.
And for the first time in days—
it actually felt normal.
Adrian glanced at Keifer.
Keifer glanced back.
No words.
Just understanding.
Cyrus leaned back.
"Now what?"
Robin grinned.
"Oh now?"
He looked at me.
Then Keifer.
Then the entire group.
"Now we go back to being chaotic."
I groaned instantly.
"I regret everything."
Keifer smirked slightly.
"…Too late."
And just like that—
peace ended.
But at least this time…
it didn't feel broken anymore.
