Zayel and Arif didn't take kindly to calling the Prince a monster, even in their own hearts.
Seeing that he was reaching his limit and going any further would rapidly drain his already depleted reserves, Aladdin cast another spell.
Dune Valley Teleportation!
Instantly, he vanished and reappeared on the other side of the stage, above the ruined area he had continuously struck with his spells.
Suddenly, Aladdin felt as though he could no longer hold himself in the air. He realised that his reserve was empty.
He fell down onto the training platform.
"Aladdinn!!"
The cheerleader costume on Genie magically pulled off as he shot toward Aladdin in a streak of light. He quickly caught Aladdin before he touched the ground.
Then, he placed his ear against his chest and sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness you're alright. I was worried that something bad had happened to you," Genie said, wiping the beads of sweat from his head after realising that Aladdin had only fallen unconscious due to depleted magical reserves.
Zayel and Arif quickly arrived before them.
"Is the Prince okay?" Arif asked.
They were filled with worry at the thought that something bad might have happened to the newly returned Prince of Ababwa under their watch.
Genie stood up with Aladdin in his arms and said, "He's okay. He has simply fallen unconscious due to depleted magical reserves. He should be waking up soon." Then, he shot into the air, vanishing from sight.
Zayel and Arif sighed in relief.
Their expressions swiftly turned to wonder as they remembered what they had previously seen. Prince Aladdin had vanished into thin air and reappeared in another position as though he had teleported.
Though it was difficult for them to tell what kind of spell he had used, they were certain that it was a teleportation spell. These kinds of spells were very rare. There were only three kinds of teleportation spells in the entire library, and all of them were more difficult to learn than the Exotic Five Elemental Control.
Yet, Aladdin had not only used two elements simultaneously but had also teleported at the same time. And for him to be able to cast without chanting meant that he had also mastered it.
This was beyond the scope of a genius. Not even the previous Grand magician had been able to grasp such a difficult spell at such a young age.
An unparalleled genius! He's truly an unparalleled genius!!
Both of them still thought that Aladdin had been practising these spells for several years before perfecting them after studying the extensive Imperial Magic Court library.
If they knew that Aladdin had learned and mastered these spells in a single day, the scale of his terrifying magical aptitude in their hearts would have increased once more.
But they didn't, or couldn't even fathom such a thought.
"Let's go report this to the General," Arif said.
They had to inform General Rakim of Prince Aladdin's magical capabilities, and even if they didn't want to, also inform him that he had passed out during training.
Zayel nodded and replied, "You go. I'll stay behind to watch over the library."
Within a grim-looking palace, a woman hurriedly walked into a dimly lit room, slamming the door behind her.
She was tall, light brown-skinned, with an almost gaunt build. Her long black hair was styled like a cobra's hood. She was dressed in a form-fitting, open-back, floor-length burgundy dress with black accents. Wrapped around her right arm was a golden four-ringed snake armband, with a pair of golden earrings and a necklace around her neck.
She looked to be middle-aged, but was actually in her mid to late forties. Her name was Nasira. She was a sorcerer of the dark arts, a necromancer.
The moment she reached the centre of the room, she froze, staring at the cracked crystal held securely on a stone pillar and its shattered pieces scattered around it.
Her body shook uncontrollably.
"AAHHHHHH!!!" She screamed out in pain, then began pulling out her hair hysterically.
"NO!! You can't be dead!! Jafar, you can't die!! It's a lie!! It's not possible!!"
She collapsed on the ground, clutching her dress, and began weeping hysterically. Her twin brother, Jafar, was dead.
She continued weeping for over an hour until she began to calm down.
"How did he die?" Nasira asked herself, grasping the crystal shards tightly in her arms, almost drawing blood from her grip.
As Jafar's twin sister, and someone who had grown up with him on the streets of Agrabah as street rats, they had survived together until they met their master, who taught them the magic they now practised, only for them to later kill him and take his possessions for themselves.
They both had different dreams in life. While Jafar's dream was to climb through the official ranks and become the ruler of Agrabah, hers was to dive deeper into the magic she had attained and forge her own kingdom with its own rules.
Her brother was smart despite his limited magical aptitude, so she trusted his skills to survive on his own. However, before they parted, they created a way to know each other's life status in case either of them encountered a life-and-death situation.
The method they came up with was this crystal. She was the one who created it, so she knew how to utilise it best. Without hesitation, she closed her eyes and began to sense the last moments of Jafar's death.
"Kill Jafar, the traitor!"
"Kill Jafar, the traitor!"
Furious, loud voices echoed in her mind, and an unsettling scene unravelled before her.
The crystal was able to show her the last five minutes before Jafar's death, but that was enough for her to understand how her brother had died.
"Prince Aladdin Ababwa! Princess Jasmine of Agrabah!! Sultan Hamed Bobolonius II of Agrabah!! I will kill you!! I'll kill every single one of you!!" Nasira shouted in rage, her grip crushing the crystal shards and injuring her palm in the process, causing her blood to ooze onto the floor.
A black miasma erupted from her and slowly began spreading around the room.
The flames barely lighting up the room flickered violently.
"I promise that I'll get my revenge on all of you."
However, the first thing she needed to do was try to revive Jafar.
Nasira stood up and walked out of the room, slamming the door shut behind her.
Empire of Ababwa,
Two hours later,
Aladdin slowly woke up from his slumber.
He instantly remembered the reason he had gone unconscious. Strangely, rather than feeling tired, he felt more invigorated than ever.
"Are you okay, buddy?" Genie emerged from the edge of the bed behind him, floating above him, and asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I got carried away with testing how far I could go and ended up draining my magical reserve," Aladdin responded.
"How long have I been unconscious?" He asked.
"Two hours," Genie nodded, raising two index fingers as he replied. "You're lucky that Jasmine hasn't returned from her trip yet, or else I wouldn't have heard the end of it." He wiped away the non-existent sweat gathering on his forehead.
Aladdin gently pushed his body up and sat on the bed. He closed his eyes to sense his magical reserves. He could feel that his magical reserves had increased by an entire 100 per cent, basically doubling in size.
If he were to cast the Exotic Five Elemental Control and Dune Valley Teleportation continuously right now, he could go on for an additional ten minutes, which meant a total of twenty minutes of continuous casting for both spells.
If he were to face Jafar, he believed that he could take him down easily.
Although he was still far from becoming as powerful as Genie, it was only a matter of time before he reached that level. He only needed to take it one step at a time.
"My magical reserve has doubled in size. I want to head to the Imperial Magic Library to continue training," Aladdin said, standing up from the bed.
He took a good look around the room and immediately recognised that it was the room that General Rakim had shown him.
It was incredibly spacious, with a king-sized bed and a sitting area on the other side. A chandelier hung from the ceiling. It even had an indoor bathing chamber and a spacious veranda with a miniature garden filled with unfamiliar, beautiful birds and butterfly species, which Aladdin could see through the wide window from his position.
"WO WO WO…! Calm down there, bud! Don't you see the time? It's late!" Genie quickly blocked his path and said. "Besides, Jasmine will be back soon. Don't forget that you're getting married, you two still need to spend some time together, and you know… get to know each other."
Genie wasn't worried that Aladdin was the kind of person who would let power get to his head because of the wishes he had made. He was a genie, so he understood what it meant to possess power beyond imagination.
