"Meg, most of my questions about the system and the world have been answered. Thank you," I told her.
"No problem, Host. Would you like to talk about something else?"
"Of course," I replied immediately. "I want you to walk me through my panel and everything we haven't covered yet."
"Of course. Let's start from the top, shall we?" she said with a small smile.
"Yeah."
"Please open the panel, and I'll walk you through it step by step."
I silently opened the panel in front of me. There wasn't much information at first glance—only the obvious things and a few things I didn't fully understand yet.

Meg pointed at the top of the panel.
"We have your template, which should be obvious enough. Your race isn't included yet, but it could be added if you want. Your age could also be displayed."
"Maybe the age would be useful," I said. "But the race is obvious enough. I'm an angel."
Meg nodded. "You may not remain only an angel forever. Don't forget, there is still a possibility of a sub-template that could change you."
"Alright, then add age as well. It might be helpful."
Meg nodded again and continued.
"Next, we have your synchronization rate, which is currently at 5%. You could consider this a beginner's gift. But please, Host, do not underestimate it. It will be very difficult to increase."
"Is that so? How slow are we talking?"
"I will explain that in a moment. First, let's go through everything else."
"Alright. But how do I increase it? From novels, it's usually training, acting like the character, or doing things connected to the character."
"Good question," Meg said. "As you receive your first memories, you will gain knowledge you must become proficient in—rituals, ancient places, supernatural laws in the TVD world. Keep in mind the world will be slightly different because of the Variant. That is only the first step. After that, you must do what angels do: observe, fight when necessary, act as God's warrior, smite evil, help when you can. Spreading knowledge of the divine may also help slightly. These are the main methods. Additionally, the synchronization percentage will slowly increase on its own over time."
"That's a lot of things," I said, "but not too hard."
"Of course, Host. This template was never meant to be easy. As an angel, you were supposed to be at full power from the moment you were created. But because of the system, your power has been divided and must be inherited slowly."
"I understand. Please continue, Meg."
"Your current power is what you can release in the TVD universe. These are your constraints."
"So that's the limit of what I can use here."
"Yes. Because of the Variant influence, it may be slightly higher than a normal world's limit. But a full-powered Archangel like yourself would eventually destroy this universe if unrestricted."
"I see. And my true power?"
"That is what you are when you release your full form."
"Full form?"
"Of course. Your true sight would make mortals lose their sight. Your light would destroy everything around you. Your true height is probably as large as a continent. Generally, your brothers and sisters reside in their Divine Bodies."
"Divine Bodies?"
"Yes. Bodies specifically made by God for angels to inhabit. They were created in human form to restrict your power and allow better communication with humans when it was necessary in the past."
"I see."
"Do not be surprised, Host. After all, you do God's work, which often meant going to lower worlds. Even your brother Lucifer created forms for demons in Hell. Nowadays, hardly anyone uses their true form. You could call it a silent agreement."
"Understood." I wasn't too surprised by all this. The universe had already been adapted to me, and to be honest, having two forms was actually pretty interesting.
"Next, we have your current abilities. You will unlock more with time. First: Smite. This is divine energy released to destroy a target. It can be used through touch, a gesture, or eye contact. It is especially effective against supernatural beings and souls. Also, be aware—they will grow alongside you. They are currently in their weakest form."
Meg continued.
"Telekinesis is the ability to move and control objects with your mind."
Then she pointed to the next one.
"Perception of Truth. This is perception of essence, intent, and supernatural structure. At your current 5% synchronization, it should allow you to see the following:
If someone is lying.
If someone intends harm.
If someone is afraid.
If someone is hiding something.
Spells.
Curses.
Magical structures.
Illusions.
And most importantly, supernatural identification—no supernatural creature can hide from your perception."
"This is the last ability on the list, but one of the most important," Meg continued. "Dream Walking. This allows you to enter the dreams of sleeping people. Currently, you will be able to enter the dreams of people you know within the radius of one city around you. You will also be able to see some of their past memories and speak to them. They will remember the conversation after waking up."
"And why is it so important?"
"Of course—to connect with your brother, Host. If you manage to bring yourself to around 40% synchronization, you might be able to speak to Lucifer, as he is currently closer to your layer of existence."
"Great… and why would I want to talk to the Devil?" I asked dryly.
"I am just making a suggestion, Host. The memory viewing aspect is also very useful if you don't like the first option."
"…Fair point," I admitted. "These abilities are already powerful enough at just 5%. I don't really have anything to complain about."
"Lastly, we have your sword and Divine Authority," Meg said. "First, the sword. This is a divine weapon that can kill immortals and damage souls. It was specifically modified considering the world you are entering. This sword was not made to cut flesh. It was made to cut existence."
"Okay," I said. "That's… actually pretty cool. I'm happy with everything so far, Meg."
"Thank you, Host. But let me finish the last point: Divine Authority. Divine Authority is the right to command, judge, and control certain aspects of reality. It is not just power. It is permission to use power."
"What do you mean?"
"You do not need to worry too much about it now, because it will take a long time before you come into contact with it. But here are some examples:
Judgment — Decide who should die.
Smite — Destroy supernatural beings.
Soul — Damage or judge souls.
Hell — Open or enter Hell.
Heaven — Command angels.
Order — Punish things that break natural laws."
"I think I understand a little," I said. "But like you said, it will take a long time before I unlock it, so I'll just keep it in mind."
"That is for the best, Host. And lastly… are you ready to start your new life?"
I thought about it for a moment, then nodded.
"Yeah, Meg. I think I am."
She smiled slightly. "Perfect. Then I wish you a happy journey..."
I stopped her before she could say more.
"Please, Meg. I am Michael now. Let's just use this name. As for my past life… let it stay a memory."
"Alright, Michael," she said softly. "This will hurt a lot, so please bear with it. And before I forget—your current timeline is about 2000 years before the main story begins. Silas and Qetsiyah have just come up with the idea for the immortality elixir."
"…You probably should have mentioned that earlier," I said. "But whatever. Two thousand years… this is going to be a long life. Goodbye, Meg."
"Goodbye, Michael. And good luck."
A sudden pain assaulted my entire existence.
It felt like I was being torn apart and rebuilt at the same time. Not just my body—my mind, my memories, my very existence felt like it was being broken down and reconstructed piece by piece.
I didn't even have time to scream.
My vision went dark.
And I lost consciousness.
(Meg's POV)
"Oops, i forgot to talk about how slow was the sync rate. Doesn't matter really he will find out himself sooner or later, or just send him a message, yeah let's do that" - And with that I can fall asleep, which will last a long time, so good luck Micheal.
I closed my eyes.
