"Sorry?" he scoffed.

Adam raised his hand again.
"To teach you properly—"

The entire office froze.
Slowly—
Adam turned.

Damian tightened his grip slightly.
Pain shot through Adam's arm.
"You talk too much," Damian said calmly.

Adam stumbled back slightly, shocked.
"Do you even know who I am?" Adam snapped.
Silence fell.
Because everyone knew.

He stepped forward slowly.
Each step heavier than the last.
"The ground you stand on…" he said quietly.

"The place you call yours…"
His eyes locked onto Adam's.
"The staff you command…"
A beat.
"They were never yours."
The air turned suffocating.
"And they never will be."
Adam's expression shifted slightly.
Confusion.
Then anger.
"What nonsense are you—"
"You have nothing," Damian cut in.
Cold.
Sharp.
Final.
"You're just a loser."
The word hit harder than any slap.
"And I advise you…"
Damian leaned in slightly.
"Leave now."
A pause.
"Or stay…"
His eyes darkened completely.
"And watch your downfall."
Silence.
Dead.
Heavy.
No one moved.
No one spoke.
Because at that moment—
They understood.
The real king…
Had returned.
And Adam?
Was already finished.
