Chapter 175 - The Deal Before the Storm

Part 2: The Deal Before the Storm

Gunfire echoed through the night.

Sharp.

Relentless.

Chaos had taken over the mansion grounds.

Men shouting.

Bullets cutting through the air.

And in the middle of it all—

Damian moved.

Calm.

Precise.

Deadly.

He stepped over a fallen body.

His expression unchanged.

Unbothered by the chaos around him.

Then—

He saw him.

The leader.

Standing across the battlefield.

Surrounded.

But not afraid.

Their eyes met.

And in that moment—

Everything else faded.

Damian raised his hand slightly.

A signal.

His men paused.

The gunfire slowed.

Not stopped—

But controlled.

The rival leader stepped forward.

Smirking faintly.

"So this is the devil himself."

Damian's gaze remained cold.

"You came into my territory."

His voice was low.

"You don't leave without consequences."

The man chuckled.

"And yet… here I am."

A pause.

Damian stepped closer.

"Let's end this properly."

The leader raised a brow.

"Talking now?"

"Two days."

Damian said.

"10 a.m."

He named the location.

A neutral ground.

"We settle everything there."

Silence.

The leader studied him.

Then smiled slowly.

"Deal."

Just like that—

The war paused.

For now.

Two Days Later — Morning

The mansion was fully prepared.

Weapons ready.

Men alert.

Tension high.

Damian stood at the center.

Dressed in black.

Composed.

Unshaken.

Lucas stood beside him.

"This is going to get messy."

"It always does."

Damian replied calmly.

Footsteps echoed.

Ethan walked in.

Casual.

Confident.

"I'll go too."

Lucas immediately frowned.

"This isn't some child's play, Ethan."

Ethan smirked.

"Good thing I'm not a child."

A pause.

"And you'll need someone smart there."

He added.

Lucas sighed.

But before he could argue—

Damian spoke.

"Leave him."

Silence.

"He can be useful."

Ethan's smirk widened.

"Told you."

Before leaving—

Damian went upstairs.

Elara stood there.

Waiting.

Her eyes searching his.

"Be careful."

She said softly.

Damian stepped closer.

Without a word—

He cupped her face gently.

And kissed her.

Slow.

Meaningful.

"I'll come back."

Seraphina slept peacefully behind them.

"She's not going to school today."

Damian added quietly.

Elara nodded.

"Come back to us."

He didn't reply.

But his eyes said everything.

Then he left.

The Meeting Location

An open ground.

Quiet.

Too quiet.

The rival team was already there.

Waiting.

Prepared.

Damian stepped forward.

His men behind him.

Ethan slightly to the side.

Damian touched his earpiece.

"Ethan."

"Yes, boss."

"Get to work."

"Access all their devices."

"And tell me their plan."

Ethan smirked.

"On it."

His fingers moved quickly on his device.

Focused.

Sharp.

Meanwhile—

The tension between both sides built.

Then—

It snapped.

The fight began.

Gunfire.

Chaos.

Movement everywhere.

Damian fought through it all.

Effortless.

Precise.

Then—

Ethan's voice came through.

"I've got it."

Damian moved while listening.

"Their plan…"

"They want to hack into your system."

A pause.

"Money, data… everything."

Ethan's tone shifted slightly.

"But…"

"I've already hacked into theirs."

A small smirk formed on his face.

"Changed their passwords."

"And shut everything down."

"Now they have nothing."

Damian's lips curved slightly.

"Good job."

Across the field—

The rival hacker panicked.

"Boss!"

"Someone hacked our system!"

"They changed everything— we're locked out!"

The leader's expression changed instantly.

He looked up.

Straight at Damian.

And in that moment—

He understood.

"You…"

He muttered.

Damian's expression remained cold.

Ruthless.

"You've lost."

The leader said quietly.

Damian let out a cold chuckle.

"Not yet."

A pause.

"Not until I finish everything."

And then—

The real fight began.

Damian's men overwhelmed them.

One by one.

They fell.

Until only one remained.

The leader.

Standing alone.

The hacker lay on the ground.

Shot twice.

Barely moving.

Damian stepped forward slowly.

"I want him alive."

He said coldly.

"Take him to the mansion."

"And lock him up."

A pause.

"With the traitor."

His eyes darkened.

"Their punishment awaits."

Back at the Mansion

Elara stood at the entrance.

Waiting.

The moment she saw Damian—

She ran to him.

Wrapping her arms around him tightly.

"How did it go?"

"Good."

Damian replied simply.

She pulled back slightly.

"I hope Ethan didn't do anything stupid."

Ethan scoffed immediately.

Standing behind them.

"I'm offended."

Damian glanced at him briefly.

"He did well."

A small pause.

"I'm proud of him."

Ethan blinked.

Then smiled.

Proud.

"Thank you."

"At least someone appreciates my work…"

He added.

"…not some sister."

Elara rolled her eyes.

"Don't start."

Suddenly—

A small voice echoed.

"Daddy!"

Seraphina came running.

Damian's expression softened instantly.

He bent down and lifted her into his arms.

She wrapped her tiny arms around his neck.

"I missed you!"

Damian held her closer.

"I'm here."

And in that moment—

The war…

Didn't matter.

Because this—

Was everything he was fighting for.

To be continued…
