Chapter 184 - The Message Sent in Blood

Part 2: The Message Sent in Blood

Morning didn't feel like morning.

There was no warmth.

No peace.

Only tension.

The name still echoed in the mansion.

Azrel.

And everyone knew—

Something bigger was coming.

Damian's Study — Early Morning

The room was cold.

Silent.

The captured leader sat tied to the chair.

Weaker now.

But still conscious.

Damian stood in front of him.

Dressed.

Ready.

Lucas stood beside him.

Calm.

Prepared.

"You said Azrel sent you."

Damian spoke.

The man smirked weakly.

"And what if I did?"

A pause.

Damian stepped closer.

"Then you should have stayed far away."

The man laughed softly.

"You think you scare him?"

Silence.

Damian didn't respond.

Because fear wasn't his weapon.

Control was.

"You're not important."

Damian said calmly.

The man's smirk faded slightly.

"You're just a message."

That landed.

Hard.

The man's eyes flickered.

"What message?"

Damian leaned closer.

"That he chose the wrong person to touch."

A pause.

"And the wrong house to enter."

Silence filled the room.

The man swallowed slightly.

For the first time—

Fear.

"Lucas."

"Yes."

"Make sure he delivers it."

Lucas nodded once.

He stepped forward.

And the man realized—

Too late.

This wasn't interrogation.

This was a warning.

Outside — Mansion Grounds

Ethan stood with his laptop.

Typing quickly.

Security feeds running.

Signals tracked.

Amelia stood nearby.

Quiet.

Watching him.

"You didn't sleep."

She said softly.

He didn't look up.

"Neither did you."

A pause.

"I'm used to it."

Ethan stopped typing.

Then looked at her.

"You shouldn't be."

Silence.

She looked away slightly.

"You'll get tired of this."

"Of what?"

"Of me… and everything that comes with me."

Ethan leaned back in his chair.

"You don't get to decide that."

She frowned slightly.

"I'm serious."

"So am I."

A pause.

He stood up.

Stepping closer to her.

"I'm still here."

Their eyes met.

And this time—

She didn't look away.

Living Room — Same Time

Elara sat with Seraphina.

Fixing her hair gently.

"Stay close today, okay?"

Seraphina nodded innocently.

"Okay, mummy."

Elara smiled softly.

But her eyes—

Still carried worry.

She looked up as Damian entered.

Their eyes met.

"Is it done?"

Damian nodded once.

"It will be."

She understood what that meant.

She stood up slowly.

"Will this stop them?"

A pause.

Damian walked closer.

"No."

Honest.

"But it will make them think twice."

Elara exhaled slowly.

"Then we stay ready."

Damian looked at her.

For a moment—

Pride.

She had changed.

Grown stronger.

And he saw it.

Later — Mansion Gate

A car drove out slowly.

Inside—

The captured leader.

Barely conscious.

A mark left behind.

A message carved into his fate.

He would live.

But not forget.

And neither would Azrel.

Damian — Watching from Above

He stood by the window.

Looking out.

Silent.

This wasn't over.

This was just the beginning.

Because now—

It wasn't about business.

It was personal.

And when it becomes personal—

Damian never holds back.

To be continued…
