The two push eachother away. Gimori blinks and Aizashi's back in front of him, his flame blade ignited as Aizashi attempts a horizontal slash but misses by a hair. Aizashi steps forward, attempting a downward diagonal slash that Gimori backsteps. Aizashi raises his blade once more attempting a downward diagonal slash again, Gimori raised his demon blade for a block. Aizashi raises his blade again for a downward vertical slash but Gimori ducks under the slash before attempting an upwards diagonal slash that misses. Both fighters raise their blades, Aizashi going for a horizontal slash on Gimori's stomach, Gimori going for a downward diagonal slash. Aizashi's slash lands, Gimori falls to one knee but he smirks as his Aku no eye fixes the wounds.
Gimori: It's not going to be that easy "legend".
Gimori gets back into his stance as Gimori rises.
Gimori: Do not give in to the illusion that you've got me on the ropes. I like playing with my food before devouring it.
Gimori licks his almost perfect teeth. Gimori rushes over to Aizashi and hits him with the pommel of his demon blade. The blade flares with a deep blue and black before blasting Aizashi back, making him skid into some fire. Aizashi slashes through through the flames before walking out, sword saint uniform tattered as he flashes to Gimori, blade engulfed by flames. Gimori sheathes his blade before using the pommel of his blade to black the assault. Aizashi goes for the neck but Gimori ducks under the horizontal slash, Aizashi follows up with another horizontal slash but it's parries by Gimori's sheathed demon blade. Gimori kicks Aizashi in the stomach sending him staggering back a little but Aizashi quickly recovers, getting up and attacking again. Aizashi attempts a diagonal slash to the chest but Gimori partially unsheathes his demon blade, blocking the attack.
Gimori: Just accept the enormous difference between us and die, so I can take your flame blade and devour you.
Aizashi: You dare disrespect me in such a manner?! I'll destroy you no matter the cost!
Gimori: I'm willing to let you try.
Gimori pushes Aizashi back.
Meanwhile Katherine is at the great ravine behind the village with Xzaivier.
Katherine: Oh my baby boy... I'm so sorry things turned out this way. Look I don't want to send you away on your own like this but I have to evacuate you, to make sure you live my son.
Xzaivier: But what about you?
Xzaivier asks, looking at her with dead eyes as if already knowing the answer to that question. Katherine looks away briefly before caressing her Xzaivier's face.
Katherine: I'm not sure what will happen to me and your father, we are dealing with a swordsmen that's once ruled the world and gave Titanus Hiro, the strongest swordsmen alive a run for his money.
Xzaivier looks down again, resisting the urge to cry.
Katherine: Hey, it's okay my little champ. Even we do die, you'll just have to rise up and keep going. Plus, you'll definitely see us in the afterlife, so long as you behave.
Xzaivier: I've already lost my brother who never even got to live a day of his life... now I have to lose my parents?! That's so not fair! So not fair at all.
Katherine: Well life isn't fair my love but there's really nothing we can do about that is there? You're father and I really love you, I hope you know that.
Xzaivier: I know.
The two embrace eachother.
Meanwhile Aizashi's still trying to beat Gimori. Aizashi and Gimori charge at eachother, Aizashi slides, going for Gimori's legs but Gimori front flips over the attack. Aizashi attacks, aiming for Gimori's face but Gimori slaps the attack to the side before slashing Aizashi diagonally, leaving a third massive gash across his chest.
Gimori: This is fun, watching a little pest like you fighting for your life. It's honestly turning me on. Kidding... mostly.
Aizashi: Screw you!
Aizashi tries his flaming crescent slash but his blade is stopped mid-swing by Gimori's oxford shoe. Aizashi is kicking in the face but stands again, rushing in, Gimori goes for a stab to the heart but Aizashi spins, slashing Gimori's nape. Gimori smirks, ignoring the slash that's being healed by the Aku no eye. Gimori turns around, attempting a downward vertical slash. Aizashi sidesteps the attack, following up with a slash across Gimori's face. Aizashi slashes vertically but it's blocked by Gimori. Both of their blades flare against eachother, Aizashi's with roaring flames, Gimori's with hissing darkness.
They both glare momentarily but Gimori slashes diagonally, Aizashi parries this slash, spining swiftly before planting his foot and raising his blade for a one-handed overhead slash which meets the ground as Gimori combat rolls to evade. Aizashi charges in going for a stab but Gimori turns around, holding his blade to his back to block the stab attempt before turning around with a smirk and placing his hand behind his back, using only his right hand to block Aizashi's multiple slash attempts. Aizashi goes for a forward horizontal slash but Gimori simply bends backwards, letting the blade pass over him. Gimori snaps back up, switching his grip to reverse grip on his demon blade to reverse grip before blocking the next attack of Aizashi's without even looking at him. Gimori turns around, managing to block another attack with reverse grip. Gimori slashes Aizashi's collarbone before ducking under a horizontal slash and slashing Aizashi's legs. He cartwheels away from Aizashi's attack before standing up and waiting for Aizashi's next attack. Aizashi prepares his strongest move: total rush, a concentrated blast of flames. Aizashi points his blade at Gimori, the flame blade absorbing all of the fire from the scorched village, revealing a whole lot of ash and charred bodies. The blade engulfed him in flames. Aizashi coughs blood, his Shitagi is completely disintegrated, along with some of his hakama and jika tabi boots. He traces the kanji that's engraved in it with his finger, once complete the seal glows.
Aizashi: Almighty Hono Buredo!
The blade roars as Aizashi initiates his blade's 2nd form, a pattern, mimicing the shape of fire appears on the blade.
Gimori: Interesting.
Aizashi: TOTAL... RUSH!!!!!
A wave of unstable flames rushes towards Gimori, appearing as a furious fire dragon.
Gimori: It was fun, Aizashi... but you must die now.
Gimori's aku no eye flares with light blue energy, Gimori takes the blast head on but it curves around him as the aku no eye had created an invisible barrier of telekinetic force around him. Gimori walks through the flames, slowly and menacingly.
Gimori: (in his mind, smirking) An attack that can completely ignore the concept of space and time while also being completely unclashable, how interesting. However this attack has 2 flaws, it can only be stopped by a force based defense and it burns it's user while active. So I could just stand here and wait for him to fry himself but you don't deserve that now do you Aizashi?
Suddenly Aizashi is impaled in the heart by Gimori's demon blade. Aizashi collapses onto his back. Gimori flicks the blood off of his blade before sheathing it. As Aizashi's eyes shut, the last thing he sees is Gimori blowing him a kiss.
