[Felix POV]
After I bought the Promethium, the next item that was introduced was Mutant Growth Hormone, it's also called MGH for short.
It is a serum that has the ability to grant temporary powers to the powerless, and increased powers to those who already wield them. It just began to be produced and there are few of them.
The bidding started at $2 million and it was sold for $9 million. It looks like no one wanted to gamble on it.
The next item was Adamantium, which is the strongest metal on Earth. It is nearly indestructible and nobody has been able to damage the material. A very skilled metallurgist was able to create Adamantium by combining other known metals in the periodic table and it was successful.
The Adamantium weighed about 440 lb (200 kg). The bidding price started at $500 million. It cost that much because currently, only the government has the material and it was more like it was stolen from the government.
The Adamantium was sold for $1.5 billion.
Damn, I thought I was rich but I'm not at that level yet.
The last items that were introduced were 2 dead blue aliens. Yes, that's what the presenter called them, they had humanoid appearances but they were blue all over.
SPACE found out what they were.
[SPECIES: KREE]
They were Kree aliens. The presenter said they were the remnants of dead aliens that were left behind in 1995 during an invasion of shapeshifting aliens.
I guess Nick Fury hid the events of Mar-Vell but couldn't hide what the public or criminal organizations saw or heard. So, people made up stories in their minds to understand what was going on.
I don't know how they got the bodies and I don't care about them.
The bidding started at $100 million per body. The first body was sold for $600 million to one of the HYDRA agents and the next was sold for $750 million to John Sublime. The total for the Kree was $1.35 billion, which was a lot for 2 dead bodies.
I thought the last item was going to be Vibranium. The only person I know who can sell Vibranium is Ulysses Klaue and he didn't even show up. I don't know if it's smart of him not to sell at an auction or dumb of him not to sell at an auction.
[A/N: I thought I should've made the last item Vibranium but I changed my mind and had to change the course of the story.]
As I looked at my surroundings, everyone was beginning to stand up and leave, but I noticed I had eyes on me.
I noticed about 2 of them, but I don't know how many there were. I looked at Melina and Melina directed me with her eyes without moving her head. Melina showed me 5 others besides the 2.
I thought of an idea.
I got called to the other room to process the payment and collect my reward. Maintaining a voice like Jinwoo throughout the night is hard because I gotta say less and have a poker face to look badass.
I don't think looking badass is working, but looking like I belong with everyone in the room was working.
Melina walked behind me while I went to collect the materials.
I said something to Melina, only she could hear, when I got out. The promethium was put on a foldable flatbed steel platform trolley and Melina was pushing it, which she didn't like one bit.
We went to the back door to take the materials to DRIVE because they said we can't exit at the front door.
I opened the door for Melina to get out first.
"Stay dead," I said in a low voice towards her, which she didn't say anything to.
I activated my NAPS before I got out, which covered my body in 9 seconds. The guy that was showing us the way was surprised when he saw me in a different outfit.
The minute we got out, we got attacked by people who looked like ninjas. They were dressed in red, most of them, or more like, all of them. Which means it's some sort of organisation that's been operating for years, maybe decades if possible.
There were about 20 ninjas or more like assassins at this point. Ninjas tend to finish the job before they get noticed.
I don't know why they're planning to attack me. Is it because of that Japanese man that was trying to buy Promethium?

Nice one, SPACE.
I looked at Melina and she was already holding her guns and aiming at them.
One of them threw a dagger at the guide and it stabbed his throat and he started to bleed out on the spot.
Melina started shooting but those damn ninjas were so agile that they avoided critical damage. They threw daggers at me and I had to protect my head because I didn't make a helmet for the suit, I thought it looked ridiculous.
When they threw daggers at my head, I made sure to dodge even if there were cuts on my face, but it was better than death.
Melina killed 6 ninjas and she's not sweating while we've been fighting for about 10 minutes. Well, I'm hiding like a coward and Melina is the only one fighting them.
I don't have any experience fighting killers and I don't think I'm ready to kill anybody. My body can't stop shaking and that's when I realised.
I'm afraid.
It's not that I'm afraid of fighting but I'm afraid of dying. Technically, all living beings are afraid of dying. When I looked at Melina fighting all on her own, I don't know what makes her keep fighting but she fights. She fights to not be killed but to be the one doing the killing.
If she doesn't kill, she dies and if she kills, she lives to see another day.
My body stopped shaking and I get it.
I NEED TO SEE ANOTHER DAY.
[Felix POV]
I activated ARC and when I was trying to get the mag from my clothes, that's when I realised something I didn't take notice of before or it didn't come to mind at all. When I activated NAPS, everything I had on me was inside NAPS.
I had my phone, wallet and 2 mags, which were inside NAPS, which means to get them I gotta deactivate NAPS to get my mags and activate it again after I got them.
Why did ARC activate when I was already inside NAPS? Is it because I involved nanoparticles when I created ARC for a better understanding of the gestures or is it because it's partially part of the body, that's why it activated?
I gotta stop thinking about unnecessary stuff and focus on the battle in front of me.
I deactivated the suit, took out my mags and reactivated it again. The suit didn't have pockets or holders for me to hold the extra mag, so I just put the other mag on the ground and started to shoot at the ninjas.
Melina looked at me for a split second before she returned to the battle.
She's not going all out because I told her to fight at her usual physical performance before she took that serum. There's a reason for that.
She's covered in minor cuts and stabs but nothing critical, which means she avoided critical damage that could be fatal.
I can't keep up with all these ninjas, let alone one of them, because they keep dodging or they notice me trying to shoot and attack me immediately.

If it wasn't for SPACE telling me how to move and the suit protecting my body, I would probably be dead. I'm thankful to her and the suit.
So far Melina has killed 6 ninjas, 5 of them are injured and 8 aren't. I haven't killed, let alone injured one.
I'm starting to adapt to their movements.
When they realised that I'm starting to adapt to them and they can't beat us, they vanished.
"What was that?"
Melina said as she came towards me, looking around still on guard.
"I don't know what that was but I do have an idea."
"What are you wearing?"
"It's a Vibranium suit I made that protects me from any attack."
Melina became quiet after that. I deactivated the suit and walked towards the promethium.
Wait... Something is not right. All the ninjas left but I only saw 13 of them leave and 6 of them are dead.
Weren't there supposed to be like 20? I noticed 20 when they showed up or maybe there were more but I clearly noticed 20.

[3rd POV]
A certain man dressed in a red and black outfit standing nearby watched his partners leave the alleyway.
He watched as a woman, Melina, walked towards the boy, Felix. Melina said something to Felix and the man couldn't hear it but he waited for Felix to deactivate the suit.
He noticed when they were battling that the suit was something protecting the boy. It didn't get damaged, let alone leave a scratch, so the man decided to wait until he deactivated the suit.
He hid nearby where he couldn't be detected or seen but could also see everything that was happening. He was holding two blades in each hand.
Felix deactivated the suit probably thinking everyone had left. The man saw him deactivate the suit and didn't miss his chance.
He threw one blade at Felix's back, which hit the back of his stomach, and rushed toward him to kill him. The man raised his other blade to slash Felix's neck but Melina reacted quickly, pulled Felix towards herself and the man slashed Felix's back in a diagonal slash.
"ARGHH"
Melina let go of Felix and immediately shot the man in the middle of his forehead.
Felix was losing a lot of blood and Melina wanted to pull out the sword from Felix's body but didn't because she realised that the blade was stopping the blood from spilling more, which would put Felix in a fatal situation.
Felix was losing a lot of blood from a deep muscle cut across his upper back. If Melina didn't pull Felix in time, then the cut would've reached the chest cavity or more like the man switched from slicing the neck because he noticed Melina noticed him and would probably force the kid to duck.
Felix was losing consciousness. His consciousness was slipping away.
"Don't lose consciousness. Stay awake, Felix!"
Melina was trying to put pressure on the cut but couldn't because it was a nasty cut.
"Gl...gla... glasses."
Felix fell unconscious after he said that. Melina took the glasses from Felix.

Melina decided to wear the glasses.
«Miss Melina. Take Mr Vale to DRIVE and load the item on DRIVE.»
"Who ar... You must be SPACE."
«Yes, Miss Melina. Can you please do as I say?»
A black Challenger, DRIVE, arrived near them and Melina carried Felix's body to DRIVE while he still had a sword in his body. She put Felix in the backseat, which was slightly hard because the car only has two doors, but she did put Felix in the backseat.
She went, grabbed the item and put it in the trunk of the car. She sat in the driver's seat and tried to start the car but the car couldn't move.
»You don't have authorisation to drive.«
«Mr Vale didn't give you authorisation to drive DRIVE and you don't need to drive.»
Melina heard the car speak and SPACE speaking to her.
"How the HELL is Felix going to get help?"
«DRIVE, drive towards Dr Priscilla Davis's house.»
»Roger that.«
The car started to drive itself towards Dr Priscilla Davis's house.
[3rd POV- Priscilla Davis's House]
A certain African-American woman could be seen in her pyjamas working on something on the computer. She was typing something on the computer but it looks like she's stuck.
It's the middle of the night and Dr Priscilla is on her computer trying to write something. She only wrote the title of what she's going to write about.

She was thinking of writing about the serum Felix injected her with but realised that she has nothing to write about. She remembered the mutants and Skrulls, and decided to write about superhumans.

After a while, she heard a car outside her house and went to check via a window. She saw that it was DRIVE outside because she noticed it immediately and went to check outside.
When she went outside and saw Melina carrying Felix with the blade in his stomach, she started directing Melina to the living room.
She told Melina to lay Felix down while she went to the bathroom to grab her first aid kit, and she came back with it.
She told Melina to put pressure on the stab wound while she pulled out the blade. The blade was pulled out from Felix and Priscilla started working on him.
