The color drained from Louis Sutton's face. He glanced at Timothy York and Summer Thorne, then at Simon Keats, who had already stepped into his room and was provocatively making a show of closing the door. In the end, Louis couldn't restrain himself and bolted toward his room.
Louis Sutton had, of course, planned to drag Simon Keats out. But with a loud SLAM, the door swung shut, trapping them both inside the room.
Immediately, the sounds of a violent struggle erupted from the room.
Yet the two people in the living room remained perfectly still, as if they hadn't heard a thing. When one of them finally moved, it was Timothy York, who got up and sat down beside Summer Thorne.
His movement spurred Summer Thorne into action. She pounded her fists against his chest a few times. "Don't you have enough on your plate? Why come here and stir up more trouble at a time like this!"
