Chapter 1 - Dream

A bird with white and black feathers glided silently through the sky above a lone building.

At first glance, the structure looked like an ordinary house. Yet something about it felt wrong. Its walls were old and uneven, and you couldn't see any windows on th walls of the house. It stood there, old and fragile, as if it will collapse at any moment but somehow, it dosen't.

A few minutes later, a child opened the doors of the old house and went outside.

For a brief moment, everything seemed normal. The cold air hung still, and the world felt quiet. Then, suddenly, the child collapsed as if all strength had left its body. The Child fell to the ground and didn't move again.

"Thank you so much for helping. Without you, the baby wouldn't have made it," a man said, holding a small infant carefully in his arms. He stood in front of a closed door, his voice filled with relief and exhaustion.

"No problem. Clara is a good friend of mine. I would have helped even if you hadn't asked," the woman replied warmly. There was a gentle happiness in her voice, as if she truly cared for the family.

"What are you going to name the baby?" she asked, her eyes soft with curiosity.

"I want to name him Osiris… but I don't know if Clara will agree," the man admitted, glancing down at the child.

"That would be a fitting name for him," she said with a small nod. Then she stepped back. "But I need to leave now, Karma. Don't forget Clara shouldn't move too much for a while."

With that, she turned and walked away, her footsteps fading into the distance.

From behind a corner, a child who had been hiding quietly stepped out as soon as the door closed.

His father noticed him and sighed Piggy… do you still fear other people? He asked himself.

But Piggy wasn't able to read his father's mind and respond. His

attention was completely fixed on the baby in his father's arms.

——-

Who is this? No who am I? The baby thought.

It had bright red hair and equally striking red eyes, stared upward at the towering figure holding him. Everything felt unfamiliar.

"He looks exactly like you, Father!" Piggy suddenly exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement at the thought of having someone new in the family.

"Yes he does," the father replied quietly. His voice was heavy with exhaustion, his eyes barely staying open. He looked like he could fall asleep at any moment.

What are they saying?

The baby's thoughts grew more frantic as he struggled to understand the language. But the unfamiliar sounds continued around him.

What even is a language?

The more his father and brother spoke, the more questions filled his mind, each one piling on top of the next until it became overwhelming.

"I want to go to sleep," Piggy said suddenly, though his voice made it obvious he wasn't telling the truth.

"You want to sleep? That's new," his father replied suspiciously. Still, he was far too tired to argue. With a quiet sigh, he handed the baby over to Piggy and walked into the kitchen to start cooking.

Neither the baby nor the older brother spoke.

Piggy simply stared down at the baby, his eyes full of curiosity. The baby, in turn, stared at the surroundings, trying to understand this strange new world around him.

Normally, someone might have questioned why the baby was so quiet. But the house was filled with exhaustion, and no one noticed.

While cooking, the father let out a tired sigh.

This is going to mean more work he thought. I just hope it doesn't get so bad that Clara has to start working too.

Time passed slowly.

Outside, a cow wandered back into its cage on its own, the soft sound breaking the silence of the night. Inside the house, the father and his sons finished their meal in relative quiet.

"I'm going to sleep now," Piggy said, gently picking up the curious baby, Osiris.

"Be careful you'll fall!" the father suddenly shouted, alarm flashing across his face. It wasn't that he was overly protective but Piggy had a habit of tripping and falling multiple times a day.

"Don't worry, I'll survive," Piggy replied casually without even turning around and starting to run.

The father remained seated, staring blankly ahead.

What have I done with my life he wondered silently.

Piggy, completely ignoring his father's quiet crisis, ran down the corridor toward his room. Just before crashing into the wall, he slowed down abruptly.

"This is our new room," Piggy said proudly, looking down at his younger brother.

But Osiris wasn't listening.

Where am I? Who am I?

Those questions echoed endlessly in his mind.

Piggy stepped inside and lay down on the bed, still holding Osiris in his arms. He turned his head toward the window.

Osiris followed his gaze.

Beyond the glass stretched a vast, endless sky filled with thousands of stars. The winter air was cold, yet no snow fell, leaving the sky perfectly clear.

For a moment, everything was quiet.

Then Piggy spoke again, his voice suddenly full of energy.

"You know, I actually have a dream Well, I guess you don't even know what a dream is," he said with a small laugh. "It's something you want to achieve. It can be anything as long as you truly believe in it."

He paused, staring at the stars.

"It could be something small, like eating a really good meal… or something big, like becoming a god."

His voice softened, but his eyes burned with determination.

"My dream is to prove that this planet the one you and I will live on is not at the center of the universe most astronomers still believe that this planet is in the center of everything."

He leaned slightly closer, whispering into Osiris's ear:

"I hope I succeed no"

"I will succeed."

Osiris listened quietly, just as he had all day.

For the first time since awakening in this strange world, his endless questions faded away.

Only one thought remained.

How beautiful it is to have a dream.
