A man slowly drifting in darkness.
When suddenly he woke up.
In a strange place, a strange world.
It's already been two days since the man was transmigrated into this world.
At first he thought that this place was just weird; after all, people were living in caves wearing animal fur and dried leaves.
Inside the caves, people are cramped up—around 180-200 people in one cave; the stench is overbearing; it's even hard to breathe. These people seem like they've never taken a bath.
Later he learned that taking a bath is a luxury only hunters can do.
The man learned that these people are afraid of the outside world.
Weirdly, he can understand this people's language even though it's the first time heard this lamgu, and this language seems like incomplete even numbers aren't a thing; these people can only count using their fingers and sign language.
And doesn't have a concept of days.
On day three he learned that the outside world is dangerous; based on information he gathered, there are giant monsters outside, and the worst is the flatlands are filled with dragons.
He knows that dragons are really dangerous; from the sound of it, Kael already imagined the dragons way back on earth.
The man doesn't have a name, and he doesn't remember his previous life name as well, despite remembering what life it is way back on earth, as well as all of his memories on earth being intact, and it was more vivid remembering even small details.
For an earthling, living like this isn't going to work.
He was reborn as a human, and the first human right is a name.
He calls himself Kael, which means "hope and conquer" in his language on Earth; it was easy to pronounce and remember even for these primitive people.
While the hunters are rounded up inside the cave where a fire is, they are meticulously fixing their wooden tools and stone tools used for hunting and foraging.
These people may be primitive, and their technology is on par with the early Stone Age, but these people are smart, especially the hunter team.
They are really clever and knowledgeable. He saw that these hunters use the tree resin to connect the stone and the wood.
Sharpening the stone axes for an easier wood collection.
And creating a knife using animal bone.
Kael, who is in the body of someone else, seems like he was a teenager around 15-18 years old, even having memories of the previous owner. He couldn't really tell exactly how old he was; he was skinny and frail-looking.
Based on this previous owner of this body, he was just eating, sleeping, and staring at the ceiling of the cave every day until he got cold and died and Kael's soul took over this body.
Truly unfortunate, Kael realized that in this world, what he needed was knowledge.
Couldn't help but ask these people about outside world knowledge.
Because for 3 days now Kael has never gone outside the world to check by himself. This body has a fear of going outside, so he postponed his plan of going outside.
Kael resolves himself and slowly walks towards the leader's direction.

The man with a tall, strong build and scars in the chest and cheeks, scars that looked like they had been there for a long time and treated like they were part of his face, was the current leader of this tribe and leader of the hunting team; he was called Scarface by the tribe.
Sfarface slowly turns around to look at Kael and grin.
"What is it, little one?"
Surprisingly, despite being scary-looking, Scarface is gentle to his people.
The other hunting team members look as well, and some go back fixing their tools.
Kael calmed himself. "Leader, I'm really curious, Leader. What is life outside the world? I am coming of age and planning to go outside soon. I really hope, Leader, you can pass on some knowledge to me.
The hunting team looks at each other with exchanged glances and laughs simultaneously with teary eyes.
One man butted in from a hunting team; he was called Big Arm. His arms were really massive and a bit shorter around the chin of Scarface.
"Young one, the outside world isn't a fun place. We adults don't want to go to the outside world as well, but unfortunately we need to go outside to get wood and food. Every time that we go outside, there's a high chance that we might get eaten by beasts, monsters, and cannibals.
Cannibals? Fear in Kael's heart grew hearing this word, clearly leaving a mark of urgency on him. After all, the cannibals on Earth were terrifying and dangerous; he was sure that even this strong man was afraid of those people; just the concept of eating your own kin makes it terrifying.
Some people around the same age as Kael come forward to listen as well; it seems like they are having the same thought as Kael and are eager to know what is outside of the cave.
Scarface clears his throat, a sign that he wants to speak.
"Go ahead, leader," Big Arms respectfully said.
With a heavy tone and seriousness, Scarface started explaining and telling them what to expect.
"The outside world is really terrifying; almost every creature wants to eat you. A beast is not something humans can handle, not even a small one.
But we humans need beast meat and blood to get stronger.
There are two types of beasts: beasts that eat plants, trees, and rocks; usually they are giant, as big as a mountain, with a long neck reaching the skies.
And there's a beast that eats meat; these monsters that belong to this group are the real danger.
There's a huge beast that can swallow a person in one bite.
This monster is ferocious and constantly hunting prey, and many of our people were eaten by this thing.
The people's reaction to hearing those words is filled with fear, not wanting to meet any of them.
But Kael is different; he was curious about what it looks like.
Those beasts are called dragons; there are small and big dragons, some are in the sky and some are in the waters, but the most dangerous are the dragons on the land.
They have a giant body as tall as a tree, with big strong legs, short arms, and a big head with serrated teeth. This beast even hunts the beasts who eat plants despite being smaller.
This beast is the king of this place, and we humans cannot afford to offend it.
Thankfully he was so big that he couldn't climb up mountains. Now we are living in the burrows made by our ancestors fleeing giant dragons.
