Chapter 26
Upon entering, the place was better than expected. Despite the exterior looking like it would close down any day now, the inside was quite ordinary. The interior was small but clean, and the various objects on display were all interesting and eye-catching.
'It seems like they're selling proper items here.'
At least, it didn't seem like they were using scams like the previous store.
'It looks much more reliable than earlier.'
As I looked around the store with ease, a woman who appeared to be the owner showed up.
"Welcome!"
"I’m here to sell something."
Not wanting to waste time, I got straight to the point. The owner then blinked her eyes a few times. Her hesitation made me feel a bit anxious.
'Oh no, I can't sell my items here either?'
How was it possible that I couldn't make any progress with my funding source? I never imagined that I wouldn’t even have the chance to sell them like this as I always assumed that I would be able to profit from them.
