The Arlez House had been living as paladins for generations.
Since both of our parents were paladins, Cheryl and Ethan naturally had the desire to become paladins as well; to become a knight in brilliantly white armor, and to become faithful servants of Excis and the Pope.
Thankfully enough, I could persuade them not to join the holy army after throwing multiple terrorizing fits.
