Chapter #119
The wizards had suddenly swarmed to the terrace and their unpredictable behavior caused quite a ruckus in the banquet hall. They needed to go out there and figure out what was going on, but no one had the guts to enter the space that the four of them were occupying.
Whilst everyone else was reluctant to go, Saluem, one of the nobles, was pushed to go as he was closely acquainted with Hirkan.
He made his wait to the terrace with a very unwilling expression on his face. After a very careful knock, he opened the door. The four wizards were gathered there with serious faces.
“Sir Hirkan, what on earth is happening?”
He spoke to his friend quietly as he tried to weigh up the situation.
Hirkan straightened up from the railing that he was leaning on.
“Aerta’s disappeared,” he answered concisely.
“What…?”
The situation was far more complex than Hirkan’s simple answer, but unlike Saluem, who was about to lose his mind, he remained calm.
