The confrontation caught Lee's attention. He quickly stepped between them.
"Hey, Han—if you still want your spot, you better work with him," Lee said firmly.
"He's never even pulled a trigger before," Han complained.
"Yeah, I know," Lee replied. "Everything is set now. Everyone pick the weapon that suits you."
Chan walked to the table and picked up two pistols.
Lee smirked.
"Hmm… interesting choice. That's a Magnum Research BFR, .45/70 Government. But I guess you don't know much about that," he said. "Here—hold it properly. Place your hand like this… steady your grip… now push forward when you pull the trigger."
Chan listened carefully.
"Alright, everyone gather up," Lee continued. "Here's the plan: we go in at the same time. We have less than ten minutes inside. Shoot any security guards on sight. Gather all staff into one room, take their phones, and make sure no alarms are triggered."
He paused, scanning their faces.
"Grab as much cash as you can. Do whatever it takes to survive. We meet back here after."
Everyone nodded.
"The bikes are ready."
They quickly changed into their outfits—fully covered and mounted their bikes moments later, they sped off.
They arrived at the bank without hesitation, Han pulled out his pistol fitted with a silencer and shot the two guards outside.
Chan froze for a split second.
So fast…
They rushed inside without removing their helmets. Han moved like a professional, taking down three more guards instantly.
Lee gathered the workers into a room, collecting their phones and cutting off any chance of alarm.
Chan stood still for a moment his hands were shaking Lee noticed and walked up to him—
SLAP!
"Wake up!" Lee snapped. "You're in now—there's no going back!"
That snapped something inside Chan.
He grabbed one of the guards and dragged him to the vault door.
"Open it," Chan said coldly. "Do exactly as I say, and you won't get hurt". The guard hesitated.
Chan slammed the back of his gun into the man's nose.
Blood gushed out.
"Next time, it won't be your nose—it'll be your brain. Open it!"
Terrified, the guard unlocked the vault.
Chan dragged him back and then pulled the bank manager forward.
Meanwhile, Han and Lee disabled the cameras.
Chan pointed his gun at the manager.
"Listen carefully. I don't want to hurt you… but I will if you hesitate. Don't you want to go home to your family?"
The manager nodded quickly.
"Good. Now open the vault."
The vault door swung open.
"Vault's open!" Chan called out.
Han and Lee rushed in.
After locking all staff in one room—keeping only the manager—they began stuffing cash into their bags.
Minutes later—
Sirens blared outside.
"Shit… who triggered the alarm?" Han snapped.
He rushed to the room where everyone was held.
"Who did it?!"
No one spoke.
Chan scanned the room carefully.
Then he noticed something.
The cashier's desk.
He walked over and looked underneath.
A red panic button.
"Damn it… there's a panic button here," Chan said.
He turned slowly.
The guard who opened the vault…
He was closest to it.
Chan raised his gun and pointed it at him.
"You did it, didn't you?"
Silence.
"I gave you a chance," Chan said, his voice trembling with anger. "But you chose this."
Outside, police sirens grew louder.
"Drop your weapons and surrender!" a voice echoed.
Chan's mind snapped without thinking he pulled the trigger.
BANG.
The guard dropped lifelessly.
Chan's hands trembled violently. His eyes widened in shock.
He had just killed someone.
"Move!" Han shouted.
Han and Lee quickly prepared explosives.
"It's ready!" Lee yelled. "Chan, are you set?"
Chan nodded weakly.
They threw the grenade through the glass wall.
BOOM!
The explosion shattered the front of the bank, destroying several police cars.
The officers scrambled for cover.
"Go! Go!" Han shouted.
They jumped on their bikes and sped off.
Police cars chased them immediately.
Roadblocks appeared ahead.
"Split up!" Chan shouted.
"Good idea!" Lee agreed.
Chan took a sharp left turn. Lee and Han went the other way.
Most of the police followed Lee.
A few chased Chan.
Chan pushed his bike to its limits.
His mind raced.
Mom… Sue… I can't fail now.
"I have to do this," he muttered. "This is my path now."
He swerved into narrow shortcuts where police cars couldn't follow.
Eventually, he reached a riverbank.
He stopped, ditched the bike, and ran.
A small boat was about to leave Chan jumped on it just in time. He crossed to the other sid, Once there, he quickly changed out of his clothes, leaving only a shirt and shorts.
He hailed a cab and headed to the meeting point his heart pounded the entire ride but no police stopped him.
When he arrived, Lee and Han were already there.
Chan stepped inside.
"I told you he'd make it!" Lee shouted excitedly. "Good job, man!"
They gathered together.
But something felt… off.
Chan noticed Han wasn't carrying a bag.
A van arrived they all got in Lee looked relaxed Chan stayed quiet, thinking.
Why doesn't Han have a bag?
He hesitated.
But curiosity got the better of him. When they arrived back at the club, Chan finally spoke.
"Han… why don't you have your bag?"
Lee and Han exchanged a glance.
