The fourth area of the facility, and the fourth region, as a result of Kuzas's power and ability within both layers of The Decagon, led them to become its absolute ruler. That was something they were allowed to do, as to do so was their choice, after all. They were given the power of a demon and left to do with it what they wanted, as they had their goal and directive. So did the players; that task was to kill all nine of them. Though Kuzas thought that all the other eight demons were either being cowards or just being controlled by their powers, rather than letting them control them. They had absolute power, so why not use it to rule absolutely, was their thinking.
So, rather than hiding the fact that they were one of the nine demons, Kuzas/Beta Tester 83 openly and proudly admitted that was the case, as they did not hide, nor shrink back from anyone. They were one of the nine demons that were max level in everything that this game had to offer. Be it in the 'reality,' which they all were just calling the facility now, as they did not want to accept this place as their reality, thus they did not call it that. The game overall was The Decagon, and the game world was Avelon, so what they logged out into was just called what it appeared to be, the facility. The area around it was just called a part of it as well. Though it was tailored to look like the outside and have all the trappings of being as such. They were all aware that they were within an enclosed space that only mimicked it. So those who did not want to lose touch with reality actually were; they refused to acknowledge it as such.
Kuzas was one of those who embraced this as their reality, as they assumed their new identity as a demon both fully and completely. No longer looking at themselves as humans anymore, but as literal demon that true form was that of a massive kaiju size dragon. That merely assumed their other two form just because they could, and it made things more interesting for them when they wanted to play around, rather than just merely dominate their own region.
They were aware that there were those who fled the fourth starting region, as Kuzas did not stop them; as if they wanted to leave, they were free to do so. The dragon demon was only interested in ruling over their own region of The Decagon, after all. There was no point in going after those that were not bothering them, as letting them leave did not change the fact that they were a demon and the players were mere players, regardless of where they were in The Decagon. Though for those who left the fourth starting area for a different region in Avelon, that meant they could not ever leave their room within the facility. Regardless of where they went within Avelon, where they always logged out into was their own personal room. For those within the fourth region of the facility, that was where they were always going to be. For those who did not log into Avelon, they stuck existing outside their own personal room, not in the fourth area of the facility, but instead within the hallways that lead to the other ones. Where they could be targeted by anyone, but the thing is, the one they did not have to worry about was Kuzas. Since they never left the fourth area of either layer of The Decagon itself.
One unique usage of their power was them 'helping' various players who wanted to leave. The players were basically immortal, since they would always respawn shortly after dying in Avelon. Where they died, as long as it was not somewhere they would leave them trapped. One of those that tested the limits of this system of The Decagon was Kuzas themselves, though how they did it was through ways only someone like them would ever think of doing, because they did not see the players as anything but their playthings to mess around with whenever they wanted or were just bored at the moment.
The first one Kuzas tried was 'helping' those who wanted to leave their area to do so. The dragon did so by grabbing them in their true kaiju form and just throwing them. They were literally just picked up like a ball and then tossed with all their strength towards a random region. They would eventually make it to the other region, though that required practice and timing to make it so that they could do so properly. Thus, the test subjects were the players who did whatever their dragon god wanted. As these players did not see Kuzas Iavko as a demon, but as their god who controlled their world that was now The Decagon itself. It did not matter if it was a facility or Avelon, as to them it was all merely The Decagon.
The second being Kuzas tested how high the sky was in both layers of The Decagon. It was discovered that space really did exist within both layers, after all. Many thought there was a limit, an invisible wall that one would hit if they went high enough. That was not the case, as there was outer space somehow in The Decagon, as one could end up there if the scenario proved sufficient enough to launch them into outer space. Though this was not a method a demon could use to kill themselves, as going to outside space required reaching escape velocity to do so. That's how the demons were trapped, unable to go to outer space to eventually kill themselves. They could not breathe in outer space unless they specifically gave themselves the ability to not require breathing at all. So being in outer space would eventually drain their HP to zero. However, they were prevented from doing so not by a lack of power or even a desire to do so. But just making it so that to reach escape velocity, they actually had to reach...the hard way. There was no hand waving away escape velocity as just a thing that they can do and/or achieve whenever they wanted because that was what was called for.
There was no need for that when just applying the natural escape velocity that exists in reality would prevent them from reaching it....at least that is for demons. Despite all their skills and abilities, they would not be able to do that. However, Kuzas proved outer space existed through literally tossing players into it...yeah, how and why the dragon was able to do that is a different story. It was learned that when a player was thrown up, they never came down again and instead respawned.
