Jay's Pov
Keifer: "Well how about you go on a dinner with me now?"
Jay: "Ahnn??"
Keifer: "Wait? I am just asking you for dinner because we can strategize our plan"
Jay: "What?"
Keifer: "Like our backup story, if they ask how are we dating"
Jay: "Ohh, okay"
Both of us went down together, I was about to get in my car,
Keifer: "Leave your car here and come with me"
Jay: "Then how will I come tomorrow?"
Keifer: "I will pick you up, anyway our first meeting is with our clients tomorrow" he pressed on the clients and said it with a smirk,
I just chuckled and got into his car, both of us settled and he started driving and we reached a really good restaurant and were seated in a private place.
We ordered the food and started talking,
Keifer: "So do you have anything in mind?"
Jay: "Well I was thinking instead of saying we are dating, we can act obvious around each other "
Keifer: "What do you mean?"
Jay: "I mean to say, that instead of acting like dating, we can act around like we have hard core crush on each other and are so obvious about each other but haven't confessed anything yet"
Keifer: "That does seem like a good plan"
Jay: "Yeah, I know we don't have to you know fake too much also, since we are not dating"
Keifer: "Yes, and we can also talk each other up, you know like, I can go to that guy and be like you are so wonderful, ect ect and I would lucky if you see me the way I do, something like that and you can do the same"
Jay: "Yes that will be more effective and by the way it's David"
he scoffed and said, "Whatever" and I just rolled my eyes, and our food came and I was surprised a little bit because he was serving it for me,
Keifer: "Okay, tell me about you?"
Jay: "What do you want to know?"
Keifer: "Your interest, hobbies, favourites?"
Jay: "I like designing and its my job, hobbies many but lately I didn't have much time, I like singing, dancing, any art project and donut anytime and you?"
Keifer: "I don't mind I will get along with what you want"
Jay: "That's not fair, we should do something that you like too"
Keifer: "I actually don't mind, I would do things what she like and I am fine"
I nod my head in a no,
Jay: "Just tell me what you like"
Keifer: "Well then , I like sports basketball, golf anytime and I also like to sit and talk in a quiet peaceful place"
Jay: "Wow, I thought you were one of the introvert types"
Keifer: "I am kind of but with some one close, I like to sit and talk for hours" he said sincerely with yearning in his eyes that did something to me and I just nodded my head.
Keifer: "What kind of dates you like? "
I was taken aback by the question, I don't know why?
I started thinking, but did not reply,
Keifer: "Why are thinking for so long?"
Jay: "I don't know but I mostly went on dinner and movie dates"
Keifer: "That's boring" and I gave him a glare
and he said, "tell me what would you want for a date" A smile formed on my face when he said that,
Jay: "I would like cooking, art, arcade and long drive dates"
Keifer: "Haven't you done that with him?"
Jay: "Well, I tried but he is really busy since he is a doctor and says just want to relax after a long, which is understandable "
he just nods his head,
Keifer: "I mean he could at least tried it once for your sake"
Jay: "What did you do for your girlfriend?"
Keifer: "Whatever she likes, she likes fine dining and shopping mostly and also clubbing sometimes"
Jay: "What about you?"
he just raises his eyebrow?
Jay: "I mean what dates you like?"
Keifer: "I am fine with anything as long as she is there"
Jay: "But you must like something that you want to do"
Keifer: "Maybe long walks in the night while holding each other's hand, beach dates, long drives or staying in and having us day by cooking and talking "
Jay: "So you do have wishes but why didn't you try them with her?"
Keifer: "Does it matter, just like I said I am happy with spending time with her"
I just nod but I did understand one thing maybe he really liked her.
Jay: "So why did you breakup?"
Keifer: "She did because I was busy and wasn't able to concentrate on anything and said we fell apart, but I did try my best" he said looking down, which did kind of made me feel sad for him,
Jay: "Sorry"
Keifer: "Its fine how about you? Why did you guys break up?"
Jay: "Like you said, the time we spent with each other slowly stopped because we were busy most the times and then one day he comes home and says it's better if we break up"
Keifer: "Ohh, So you still haven't moved on from him?"
Jay: "If I did, why would I be here"
Keifer: "Right"
then we finished eating and got in the car and I gave him instructions to my apartment,
Jay: "Hey, what about your family?" I could see the change in expression as soon as I asked him the question,
Keifer: "My dad left us and my Mom is not..." he did not complete his sentence but I understood what he was trying to say,
Jay: "I am sorry" he just nodded his head and we reached my home,
Jay: "Thanks and I will see you tomorrow"
Keifer: "You're welcome and tomorrow don't actually develop a crush on me" he said with a smirk,
Jay: "You wish, I just hope that you don't fall in love with me"
he just laughed and started his car, I felt relieved because his mood changed because he turned sad when I questioned him about his family.
