"First I will show you how to incorperate using ice into your normal moves" Yumi stated before a group of goblins and kobolds appeared in front of her
"Don't change your movements, enhance them with your powers" gliding past the monsters attacks and a thin layer of ice forming on their weapons as they tried to attack her
"With stronger enemies using this method of fighting will make them expend their energy faster and therefor they will expose openings more easily" teaching Nero as she fought
Eventually the ice had built up enough for the monsters to start to struggle to wield their weapons and obvious signs of fatigue starting to appear with their breathing becoming laboured and sweat starting to appear
"For dealing with multiple opponents at once in close quarters when you don't have to worry about you allies you should use this move, it is called 'Ice pillar fan'" she informed Nero before spinning in a circle causing an icy tornado to form around her and the icy winds combined with shards of ice mixed in sliced the monsters to pieces
"As for dealing with enemies at a distance" she noted as a frog shooter appeared in the distance "it is better to use 'black ice'" she explained as she made a thick spear of ice form in front of her and fired it at the monster, it's size big enough to defeat the opponent but small enough to move at high speeds "make sure to keep in mind the size of the black ice, use only enough energy to take out your foe and if there are multiple foes use multiple ice shards in order to deal with them all"
Finally a war shaow appeared in front of her as she put away her tessen "this final move that I will show you is my ultimate technique and even though you may have affinity with ice techniques it is unkown whether you will be able to copy it" closing her eyes to focus as the war shadow lunged at her
"YUMI-SENSEI" Nero shouted as he saw her unmoving as the war shadow struck forth
All of a sudden a blizzard of ice surrounded Yumi, freezing the War shadow in place "I call this technique 'Ice Queen'" Yumi's calm voice cut through the blizzard, the raging storm subsiding revealing her form, her hair looking like it had frozen due to its icy blue color, her eyes having turned red and a sword made of ice having formed in her hands
"In this form I naturally give off a cold air that can impeed anyone who comes close and my blade has a longer reach and has the ability to freeze those it comes in contact with" Yumi explained as she slashed her blade diagonally, the war shadow's top half sliding off of its bottom half before turning to dust
After deafting the enemy Yumi returned to her normal form, wiping her brow "the downside of this technique is that it uses up more of my energy and I can't keep it up for long and I am not as proficient with a blade as I am with my tessen"
"Downsides or not all of those techniques were incredible and just what I need right now" Nero exclaimed happily
"I am happy to hear that" Yumi smiled "now it is your turn to attempt them, start off with black ice, it is the one that I was first taught and although it is not as powerful as the other moves it is more versetile"
"Understood Yumi-sensei" Nero replied before focusing on remembering Yumi's moves
"Don't just copy my movements, remember the flow of my energy" Yumi explained "let the energy within you flow and when it reaches you hands release it"
Folowing her instructions Nero stopped focusing on his movements and instead focused on feeling the energy within himself, a cold stream seeming to flow within his body and as he urged it to flwo to his hands he could feel it starting to form in front of his hands, a ball of ice appearing
"I'm doing it" Nero beamed before the ball fell on the floor
"Not a bad start but you need to concentrate better and focus more on it's shape, a snowball won't take out your foes" Yumi giggled "now again, and this time try to make it a bit more damaging"
"Yes Yumi-sensei" Nero replied with a blush appearing on his face
The rest of the night Nero focused on training his energy control, knowing that if he couldn't create a single black ice properly he wouldn't be able to use the other moves and had no chance of even attempting to use the ice queen technique
By the time his time in the training space was nearly up Nero had gained the ability to fire a black ice without to much trouble, even if it didn't have the speed or power that Yumi's did
"With the level of your black ice even if you aren't able to kill your foes you will be able to hit them which will slow them down and will give you enough time to get close to them and take them out" Yumi stated "but the rate of your growth is beyond what I expected, at this rate I believe you actually will manage to learn everything that I have to teach you"
"I'd say it was all natural talent but I think this place helps and I have what's called a falna, it makes it so that anyone with one is stronger than normal people and will get stronger through training and fighting, I'm willing to bet my magic stat will have increased from the amount of effort I have put into using the shinobi techniques as from what I can tell it seems like the equivilant to your shinobi energy is magic" Nero explained
"I see" mumbled Yumi
"I'm sure when I learn everything and you are able to come to my world my goddess would be happy to grant you a falna if you wanted one" Nero added
"I will keep that in mind" Yumi nodded "for now it seems your time is up once again" she stated as Nero's form started to disappear
"It would seem so, see you tonight Yumi-sensei"
"I will be looking forward to it" Yumi smiled as Nero faded away.
