Inner court patrols were tighter than outer court, but Bone One's advantages were lightness, speed, and silence. He stuck close to the walls, avoiding the patrolling disciples' line of sight, and made his way to the small courtyard.
The two disciples guarding the entrance were still there. One was yawning. The other was looking down at his phone – no, a jade slip.
Lin Luo controlled Bone One to go around to the back of the courtyard. The wall wasn't high. Bone One jumped over it easily.
No one was in the courtyard. The wooden box was still on the stone table.
