As soon as he picked up the flag of liberty, he made a quick run to the blue orb shining brightly in the distance.
Freya on the other hand bit her lips tightly, averting her gaze from the boy's direction.
"Foolish human" the muttered under her breath and made a run in the opposite direction of the boy, trying to buy him enough time by distracting the Minotaur.
She understood that she wasn't the primary target of the Minotaur because between the two of them, the boy was the easiest target. Although the Monster was strong, it wasn't stupid either.
It was an intelligent creature who could sense Freya's strength. An all out battle between the two of them didn't have a clear outcome so it prioritized getting the boy and making an escape.
And Freya also knew that which made her priotize hit and run tactics to distract the beast and allow the boy enough time to make his stupid move.
She increased her fire power allowing her to get the monster's full attention.
"Dragon whistler, first form" Freya shouted and her bow shinned brightly for a few seconds. She released three consecutive arrows aimed at the Minotaur's head. She prioritized targeting important parts that would allow her to gain its attention.
The humanoid creature quickly raised its hand to blocked the three shots resulting in an explosion that pushed it a few meters back. Realizing that the young lady meant business, it took a huge club that was almost as half the size of Freya from thin air before charging at her with his full might.
Lucian who had arrived at the blue shinning orb looked back at the fight which was now becoming intense before striking the blue shining orb with the tip of the flag embedding it firmly on the ground.
First thought that came into his mind was to escape as instructed by his master earlier but just then, he heard a dinging sound in his heard and a notification appeared in front of him.

Lucian took out two black daggers from his storage ring and was about to make his run for his escape when another notification popped up in front of him making him turn to look in his master's direction with a grim expression.
