Kazuo meanwhile was still flying at his maximum current speed towards the rain country.
'I wonder who they will be sending after me, considering the fact that they likely suspect me of having something to do with the nine tails attack then it should be someone strong, team seven is most likely going to be there. Mianto won't as he can't leave the village at its current state whilst being the Hokage… so maybe Jiraya?' Kazuo thought to himself as he continued flying, until he noticed a being on the treeline wearing an Akatsuki cloak.
Quickly flapping the three pairs of wings infront of himself, he stopped right infront of the being.
'Zetsu, good.' Kazuo thought to himself inside whilst outwardly acting suspicious of the being.
"Madara will be waiting at the border and will help you in your escape." Zetsu said simply before vanishing under the ground.
Kazuo simply nodded his head and instantly used his wings once more to launch himself into the distance.
'Im almost down to mid genin levels of chakra.' Kazuo thought as he released a sigh of annoyance and grabbed a pill from his ninja bag.
'Let's hope that this shit doesn't kill me.' Kazuo thought in annoyance as he quickly popped the pill into his mouth and felt it quickly dissolve before the regenerative chakra effect started.
However unlike usual its effects were muted.
'Is my body becoming resistant to its effects? With the amount im regenerating at the moment, this will only bring me around high chunnin levels instead of jonin.' Kazuo thought as he continued on his way.
Minutes passed, with nothing in his sight but the tree line.
Around half an hour later, he was finally at the border, his speed was immense and he had been flying with meant no obstacles on the way.
Finally stopping at the border, he instantly saw a konoha border patrol team.
"Jonin Kazuo heading for a mission." Kazuo said to the three chunnin on patrol who gave a quick nod and waited for the mission scroll.
That was all Kazuo needed, the instant they had left their guard down even slightly, his tanto appeared on his hand and in a quick body flicker, three heads were thrown into he air.
It was at this moment that a person appeared on the distance, or rather than a person it was a white fog flying directly towards Kazuo.
'He's here.' Kazuo thought inwardly as his guard instantly shot up to an even higher degree, his hand on the tanto clenching slightly as he waited for the persons body to reform.
It didn't take longer than a few seconds for the man to fully form before him.
"Kazuo Hyuga, you've fully defected. Continue towards the rain village, there you will meet with the rest. I'll distract your chasers." Madara said as he gazed behind Kazuo.
Nodding his head quickly, Kazuo didn't hesitate any longer as he instantly formed back his angelic wings and started flying away.
Three minutes later, on the spot where Kazuo had been, five people body flickered into the clearing.
Madara or rather the masked man was already waiting for them.
"It seems like our suspicions about Kazuo were indeed correct." Jiraya said as he walked forwards.
"It does indeed seem so, Jiraya-sama." Fugaku and Hiashi replied as they stood behind him, whilst team seven remained at the back.
"Team seven, continue your chase of Kazuo Hyuga, do not hesitate to kill if you cannot capture him. That is an order." Jiraya said, his voice dark and serious as he quickly entered a more guarded stance.
"Do you think you can go past me?" Madara asked, his voice sounded amused as he gazed at the team infront of him through the eyeholes in his mask.
"Well, we can find out about that can't we?" Jiraya asked and without waiting for a single second, vanished from his location and used the body flicker jutsu to appear right infront of Madara and quickly launched a high kick straight towards the side of his head whilst at the same time creating a shadow clone that had already created a rasengan and was attacking the masked mans other side.
The man simply chuckle as his body partially transformed into smoke instantly, the kick went straight through the fog like smoke whilst the rasengan did the same and ended up hitting the ground creating a large crater.
"Who are you, that mangekyou sharingan." Fugaku asked as his sharingan flared up before the man instantly stared forming handseals and took a large breath and released a giant fire ball jutsu straight towards him.
Jiraya instantly jumped into the air and formed his own set of handseals at a blurring speed and quickly took a breath before spewing out oil that quickly.
'Combination Jutsu: Fire Style: Toad Oil Fire Ball Jutsu'
*Boom*
An explosion rocked the ground where the masked man had stood however when it cleared, all they could see was smoke that quickly rushed towards the side and partially reformed back into a human body.
"That wasn't a bad attack, however if that's all you have you won't be able to damage me." The man said as he shook his head.
It was at this moment that he felt something wrong, his left arm was quickly being distorted as is space itself was being twisted and devoured.
'What is this? Obito Uchiha's mangekyou?' He thought as his body quickly fully transformed into fog and dispersed into the air before reforming behind Obito.
"That was not very kind of you, I was talking." Madara spoke as his hand instantly lashed out towards Obito's eyes.
However before he could do anything, a chidori blade was quickly shoved towards his arm that had to once more turn into fog and simply passed through Obito's head harmlessly.
