"Will I die, or am I going to suffer to the death of the universe?" a familiar voice said in a depressing tone.
Remond woke up in cold sweats. He didn't know what that dream meant or what he should do. He looked outside. It was already sunrise, and he hurried to wake his sister up.
He woke his sister up and told her that it was time for them to leave.
Then, he went to the cabin downstairs to pay the bill. Remond had planned to get the required document from an acquaintance he had met during a mission when he was in the gang.
Remond was paranoid. What if the rich man was searching for him and found the hotel? What if the Red Devil gang got to him first? He was worried that Sofie would get hurt in the process.
He carried Sofie on his back and got on a train that was headed to the city where they could get the documents they needed to leave the country.

On the other side, Seth and his subordinates were looking for Remond and Sofie. As he was searching for them, they went to every house in the town and looked for them and questioned the townspeople.
That is when Seth came across a house; they went inside to question the family and saw the news on TV that the family was watching about the theft and murder in a mansion. The news continued in the background.
When the thief was inside, they took the daughter of the house hostage, and the heroic guard jumped in to save the little girl. He was sliced in half by a single strike....
'A single strike—it can't be, can it?' Seth thought to himself and was perplexed. Was it another metahuman, or was it the same one?
He ordered men and went to go and investigate the situation in person.
After arriving in town, Seth forcefully entered the mansion and investigated the guard's body, which was evidence that the police were inspecting, but when they saw the gang symbol on the back, they couldn't speak.
The Red Devil gang was a very powerful gang that controlled the government and the police.
Seth recognized the sliced body to be the same as the one in the building of henchmen. He then grabbed one of the guards and asked in an intimidating tone, "What did he look like?" The scared guard told him everything and said that a tracking chip was placed in Remond's jacket pocket and told Seth that they know where the thief is.
Seth ordered his men to scatter to look for the metahuman.

Remond reached the city and went to meet the acquaintance, leaving Sofie in a hotel room to rest.
Remond reached a narrow alley, which the acquaintance once said was his hideout. The alley was full of trash here and there, the kind that you wouldn't even dare to touch. That was how they had not been caught yet; the police wouldn't touch something as disgusting as this.
Remond stepped on the pile of trash and moved forward. After a while, he reached the end of the trash. There was an old door. He knocked on the door... after a few moments, the door opened. There he was, a tall and fat man the size of a grizzly bear.
"Remond! What do you want?"
"I want some document."
The man knew Remond was poor, so he didn't want anything to do with him. He said firmly, "I don't do free stuff. Get out of here."
"Wait, I have money," Remond said, showing the stacks of money in a bag.
The man, seeing the money, couldn't refuse it. "What kind of document?"
"To leave this country."
The man understood that and invited Remond in.
As the man makes Remond document the system, it suddenly pops up.
[Ding]
Task: Kill the man right after the documents are ready.
Reward: +10 strength
+10 vitality
...
'What? Why is the system telling me to kill him right after he finishes? Does it want me to keep my money?' Remond thought to himself as to why the system is tasking him to kill an ally.
Even so, he didn't want to kill him. The man finished making the documents and handed them to Remond; he gave the bag of money to the man.
As he was leaving, the man stopped him.
"Wait, let me count the money."
Remond was already on edge with the system's task and quickly grabbed his knife hidden in his jacket.
The man counting the money saw a flat sheet of wire and a chip; he immediately knew it was a tracking device. Thinking that Remond was a double agent, he grabbed his axe beside him and charged towards Remond.
Remond, who was already grabbing his knife, parried the axe and slit his throat in one fell swoop. Remond was also injured as the axe chipped a part of his shoulder off.
[Ding]

Remond tore the shirt off the man and wrapped it around the wound.
He quickly escaped the place, going through the trash again.
He reached the hotel and saw his sister sleeping peacefully. He was relieved to see that his sister was safe, as the tracker made him anxious about her safety.
He quietly lay on the floor to sleep and fell unconscious.
"Why are you sleeping on the floor, my lord?" A dark figure said.
"You should sleep on the bed, my lord; a noble figure like you shouldn't sleep here."
Remond wanted to speak but couldn't speak as if he were a mute.
KNOCK
The loud knock woke Remond up.
Who could it be? Was it the rich man, was it the police, or was it the Red Devil gang?
