Alessia pursed her lips. 'My one and only master? Who does he think he–' She paused. 'No, you shouldn't be saying that about your potential saviour, Alessia.'
"I'll do it if that's what you want…" She answered softly.
Dervan nodded in approval at her words. "Carry on." He urged. "What did you plan on stealing?"
"A few documents." Alessia told him without hesitation. "We were asked to find the original of the contract you signed with Evie Alrosa…"
Dervan's brows arched. "And how exactly were you all planning on finding that one document in this big apartment?"
Alessia's eyes darted about. "Umm… I told a lie and they believed me." She said, "So I was sent here as… recon of sort…"
'Document? They want the contract? What do they plan on doing with it?' Dervan tapped the tip of the pen on the desk repeatedly in thought. 'Who is this? And why are they messing with me? …Looks like she'll be useful for more than just one purpose.'
