Kiera's lips twitched. 'He's not being serious, is he?'
"People who don't mind their business usually die young, you know." She told him sharply.
But Coyle didn't answer her and just stood there, watching them for several minutes. Alessia started to grow uncomfortable from his stare, but left for Kiera, she could sit there and glare back the whole day.
Alessia's features turned pained, and then she placed a hand on her friend's shoulder making her shift her attention from Coyles's direction.
"It's alright, Kiera. We should go."
Kiera paused, studying her carefully. "Are you sure?"
Alessia could only nod once, even as the hand holding her phone turned ice cold and shaky. She had to clench the device tightly to make it less noticeable.
Kiera let out a sigh. "...Alright." She said, standing up and walking to the door, taking Alessia along with her by the hand.
She smirked at Coyle. "It's a shame the staring contest ended so soon." And then they both disappeared through the door.
