'I'm coming, damn it!' Dervan cursed inwardly at his buzzing phone, as he swerved right at a bend on the road, in a black, small car that obviously wasn't his.
He never would have guessed that information would reach their ears so fast.

Dervan had walked into his room from his study to find his phone ringing as early as a few minutes after four in the morning. When he reluctantly reached for the device on his bedside table and saw that it was Alessia's call, he let out an irritated scoff.
'I told her not to call me… has she lost her mind?'
He huffed and kept the phone back on the table with a clack and turned away intending to change out of his clothes, but the device buzzed a second time.
Dervan's features morphed into a frown. "Could it be some kind of emergency?" He muttered.
He picked it up again and took a look at the screen to see that she had sent him a message. He raised a brow in curiosity and tapped on the thread, freezing when he read the text.
