The man who had been spared was telling them everything they asked."There are… approximately thirty-five people up there with Sir Hordon…" he stammered, his voice trembling every time he accidentally met Vishi's eyes. He continued anyway, "Sir Hordon will be with the lady we kidnapped… while the others outside are waiting for their turn."
He still didn't know that the boy standing in front of him was the son of the woman they had taken.
Vishnu asked, "Are all of them armed?"
"Yes," the man replied immediately.
Vishnu sighed. "Well… it's going to be difficult to attack them like this. Even if they aren't fully focused while guarding their boss, fighting that many people hand-to-hand — especially with distance between enemies — won't be easy."He then looked toward Vishi.
Vishi stepped closer and said quietly, "Give me your gun."The man kept his head down, avoiding Vishi's eyes, and quickly handed him the gun.
Vishi glanced at Vishnu. "You know what to do in situations like this."He placed the gun in Vishnu's hand."I'll follow your lead."
(SECOND FLOOR OF THE CLUB)
A man around six feet tall stepped out of a room. The guards standing outside immediately perked up, their faces lighting with hope — maybe it was finally their turn to enjoy themselves.
But their excitement died instantly when the man said,"No one enters this room. I'm only going to the top floor."
After Hordon left, the guards slumped back into boredom.Suddenly, another man appeared — one who should have been on duty downstairs.
Glanton, supposedly the right-hand man, frowned."What are you doing here?"
"Nothing… just wanted to know when the boss would be done."
"Oh? Excited, are we?" Glanton teased. "Well, the boss just went to the top floor. Even I don't know why."He said the last line with a jealous tone, like a lover complaining.
Then Glanton noticed something."Hey, where's your locket? The one you always got angry about when someone touched it? Did you lose it?"
The man froze. The memory of his earlier encounter with Vishi and Vishnu flashed violently in his mind.
He leaned in and whispered, "Listen, I need to tell you something—"
But he never finished the sentence.
A bullet tore through his skull, splattering blood across Glanton's face.Everyone froze.
Vishnu had already begun shooting, targeting the guards who looked like the biggest threat. They were still stunned by the sudden intrusion.
Meanwhile, Vishi entered from the kitchen elevator, moving like a shadow. He silently killed two men with a kitchen knife. After that, he grabbed a gun from a fallen guard and fired — missing his first two shots, but quickly correcting his aim and dropping the next few.
The hallway became a death trap.
From one end came Vishnu. From the other, Vishi. They moved too fast, too ruthless, for anyone to counterattack with a coherent plan.
(TOP FLOOR)
Hordon was on a call, pacing."I don't see the helicopter. Where the hell are you?"His tone held no respect, but he still spoke to the man on the phone like an equal.
A calm voice replied, "Behind you."
Hordon turned — a helicopter was approaching the club.
He ended the call and waited as it landed on the rooftop helipad. When the doors opened, a man stepped out, followed by several heavy-looking bodyguards. His walk was perfectly balanced — not too fast, not too slow — a walk of controlled power.
He approached Hordon, shook his hand slowly, and said with a smile,"Hello, my friend."
But to Hordon, that smile looked like the grin of a hyena — just like the tattoo on the man's hand.
