The ongoing practice continues with a fierce intensity, as each student engages in the challenge of eliminating their opponent, one by one. In the midst of this spirited competition, Budōmasutā, our ever-casual instructor, calls out without a hint of tension, "Alright, next up we have the final matchup Kurokami versus Kiro."
As I make my way onto the training ground, I can't help but reflect on the series of events that have led us to this moment. Who would have imagined that we would be facing off against each other in such a decisive bout? The atmosphere is electric, filled with anticipation as spectators pause to observe what promises to be an exhilarating clash.
Taking a steadying breath, I step forward onto the mat, feeling the solid ground beneath my feet. "True," I reply calmly, meeting her gaze with determination, "Who could have predicted this?"
With an air of authority and subtle excitement, Budōmasutā announces the beginning of the match, a signal that sends palpable energy through the air. "Begin!" he declares, his voice resonating like a starting gun.
Kurokami, ever the dynamic fighter, replies with a light-hearted tone, "Let's see if you can keep up," before she launches herself into action. In an instant, she charges toward me, executing a front kick aimed directly at my gut.
"Very well, we shall see," I respond calmly, gauging her movements. As her kick approaches, I skillfully intercept it, gripping her leg firmly and using my momentum to pull her toward me for a front kick of my own.
"Let's test your resilience," Kurokami states with an edge of determination, withdrawing her leg to unleash another front kick, this time targeting my chest.
"Too bad for you that I anticipated that move," I retort casually, narrowly ducking under her kick. Seizing the opportunity, I lift my leg and connect my front kick to her neck, aiming to gain the upper hand.
Kurokami gasps in surprise, "You have some impressive moves, I'll admit," she acknowledges, propelled backward by my strike. Even after that strike, I'm far from finished..." however, with agility that astonishes the onlookers, she flips mid-air and lands gracefully on her feet.
Budōmasutā watches with an approving grin as the match reaches its climax. "Kurokami has been struck! The winner is Kiro!" he announces, his voice filled with a mix of pride and excitement.
