Dozens of powerful shockwaves, wreathed in flames, slammed into the cliff face with immense force, blasting a deep, bottomless hole into it.
CRUMBLE!!
Countless rocks rained down, not only burying the hole but also forming a small mountain of rubble at its entrance.
"Hah! Hah! Hah!"
After unleashing the Morning Peacock, Might Guy had consumed a great deal of stamina and was now panting heavily.
He partially closed the Gate of Joy, entering a state of recovery to minimise his energy consumption.
"I wonder if Goku is alright after taking that hit." He stared intently at the buried cave entrance, a flicker of worry in his eyes.
In the heat of the moment, he hadn't considered the sheer power of the technique; his only thought had been to defeat Goku.
Now that he had calmed down a bit, he couldn't help but blame himself for being too heavy-handed.
This wasn't a life-or-death battle against an enemy. If he had seriously injured him, he would feel incredibly guilty.
Just as he was wondering whether Goku was trapped under the rocks and whether he should start digging, rumble...
The sound of shifting stones came from within the cave, and then, "HAAAAAH!!!"
With a mighty roar, the rocks in the cave were blasted outwards as if by a powerful shockwave, scattering the newly formed mountain of rubble.
A figure, wreathed in a white aura of ki, slowly walked out. It was Goku!!
"Ha! That was an amazing move you've got there!" After emerging, Goku did a few stretches and grinned at Might Guy.
'What is this?!'
Across from him, Might Guy's eyes narrowed. He saw that apart from being covered in a bit of dust and having a few scorch marks on his clothes, his opponent was completely unscathed.
In other words, after taking the full force of his attack, Goku was still completely unharmed!
It was only now that he truly felt the immensity of Goku's strength, and his heart grew heavy with a true sense of gravity.
'Kakashi, where in the world did you find me such a powerful opponent?'
On the way to find Goku, Kakashi had only told him that Goku was a friend they had met on a mission, without explaining his origins.
As a result, he had no idea where Goku had come from. After the initial gravity of the situation sank in, he became even more excited.

"If your weaknesses are exposed, you'll find yourself in a very dangerous position. If someone comes after you specifically targeting your weaknesses, do you think you can win?"
Hearing this, Naruto nodded thoughtfully. Beside him, Sasuke, Sakura, and Rock Lee also seemed to have an epiphany.
"So we're helping Goku-sensei and thick-eyebrows' teacher cover up their weaknesses, then."
"Ah~ Something like that," Kakashi replied nonchalantly.
In truth, he hadn't detected any weaknesses in Goku and Guy's fight; helping them cover their tracks was just a matter of professional habit.
Not long after they had left, a squad of Root ninja silently arrived at the scene and spread out to investigate the area.
A short while later, the team regrouped.
"The battle traces on my side have been completely cleaned up. I can't find anything," one member reported to the captain.
"Same here."
"I only found a few fallen trees, but most of the wood has been burned, so there's nothing to see."
"Understood. Let's head back and report to Lord Danzo."
Let's return our focus to the battlefield where Goku and Might Guy were fighting.
Seeing that Goku was completely fine after taking the full force of the Morning Peacock, Might Guy knew he had to use his absolute maximum power.
Even if using this next technique would cause his body to scream in agony, so what? Youth was meant to be burned!!
"The Eight Inner Gates! Seventh Gate, the Gate of Shock, OPEN!!"

The green energy surrounding his body suddenly transformed into blue vapour.
His presence skyrocketed, and powerful, invisible shockwaves radiated out from him, sweeping across the landscape.

The shockwaves raged, snapping the nearby trees in half and sending the stones that had fallen from the cliff rolling into the distance as if they were pebbles.
Goku, his white aura flaring, was unaffected by the fierce winds, quietly watching the scene unfold.
A short while later, as the pressure around Might Guy stabilised slightly, he took a stance. "Come on, Guy."
Hearing Goku's words, Might Guy, who could no longer contain the surging power within him, let out a mighty roar.
"LET THE FLAMES OF YOUTH BURN! KONOHA'S SUBLIME BLUE BEAST OF PREY!!"
He then pushed off with his foot and, in a flash of light, appeared before Goku, throwing a punch with the force of a tidal wave!
BOOM!!!
Two iron fists, both burning with a fierce aura, slammed into each other. In that instant, the very air seemed to twist, and countless shockwaves erupted from their point of impact.
Not only that, but a crater dozens of meters wide instantly formed beneath their feet, a terrifying sight to behold.
Thud, thud, thud!!!
Thud, thud, thud!!!
After that first blow, neither of them hesitated, immediately launching a continuous barrage of attacks. Elbows, knees, fists—they used everything.
Their speed had long since exceeded the speed of sound, leaving piercing sonic booms in their wake.
If anyone had been there to watch, all they would have seen were two blurs of light, one blue and one white, clashing madly, from the cliffside to the forest, from the ground to the sky.
Everywhere they went, a furious storm of wind and destruction followed.
BAM!!
Suddenly, Might Guy was kicked into the cliff face by Goku, smashing a human-shaped hole into the rock. In the next instant, he shot out from the hole, his hands forming a peculiar shape.
"HIRUDORA!!"
A massive white tiger, over ten meters tall, suddenly materialized from his hands, letting out a ferocious roar that seemed to shake the heavens.
ROAR!!
The tiger then lunged forward, claws and fangs bared, straight at Goku.
"Whoa, what kind of move is this?"
Seeing the massive tiger rushing towards him, Goku's interest was piqued. He crossed his arms in front of him, intending to block the attack head-on with his own body!
BOOM!!!
The tiger crashed into him, pushing him back and carving a destructive path straight through the forest!
In an instant, countless trees were flattened, as if a giant plough had dug a trench over a kilometre long through the landscape.
When everything finally fell silent, a voice echoed from the end of the trench—
"DRAGON FIST EXPLOSION!!"
