Campione World – Somewhere in the Mountains
Far from civilization, deep within a misty mountain range, a lone figure knelt in quiet meditation beneath a worn temple archway. The wind was still. The sky above was pale and endless.
Dressed in a flowing white kimono, her jet-black hair shimmered like ink under the faint morning light. Her beauty was the type that demanded reverence—graceful, untouchable, and vaguely dangerous.
Normally, her expression remained calm and distant, the kind born of centuries spent above mortal struggles.
But now... her brow twitched slightly in surprise.
"A chat group? Multiverse...?"
Her crimson eyes narrowed as she examined the strange translucent interface floating in front of her. It displayed names and files she'd never seen before:
— The World Noble
— The Sadistic Ice Woman
— The Ninja Girl
— The Shinigami
— The Magician
"…There's even a memory log titled The Campione."
A beat of silence passed.
Then she blinked.
"I'm… not even the protagonist?"
She chuckled softly. It wasn't a bitter laugh—it was elegant, and oddly amused.
"How unexpected. How entertaining."
--
When Jaeger first joined the group, Yamamoto Mei had pinned a helpful announcement containing a breakdown of the group's features, history, and power systems. Luo Hao, being Luo Hao, devoured it in seconds.
She read through the structure of the multiverse, the inner workings of the chat, the unlocked files and, more importantly, the original events of her own world.
It was… illuminating.
Centuries ago, Luo Hao had risen to the peak of her world's power. As the oldest living Godslayer, feared and revered across the Eastern world, she had stood atop the martial path, untouchable.
She had walked alone for decades with no path forward.
No rival.
No ambition.
No goal.
But now?
Now she felt the stirrings of something long thought dead.
"A world beyond worlds… timelines beyond fate…"
She placed a hand over her heart. Magic swirled beneath her skin—vibrant, alive.
"I never imagined such a thing existed. But now that I've seen it… I will not let go of it."
Her lips curled slightly.
"A Godslayer is still a King. And a King deserves the spoils of all realms."
Her attention shifted as she noticed a new notification—her name had been highlighted in glowing orange.
@Luo Hao
She tapped it.
Sender: Nerona Jaeger
"Saint Jaeger… a World Noble from the One Piece world?"
She committed the name to memory.
Then, with all the grace and weight of a queen making her royal entrance, she opened the chat.
[Chat Group]
Luo Hao: "Indeed. I am Luo Hao—the Godslayer. The one and only Martial King."
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Uh… Godslayer? That's… unexpectedly chuunibyou."
Uchiha Miyuki: "It's normal. Anime leans hard into chuunibyou sometimes but Luo Hao isn't faking it. She's literally killed gods. In her world, Godslayers are also known as Demon Kings."
Uchiha Miyuki: "She's arrogant, prideful, and terrifyingly powerful. A tyrant in every sense."
Nerona Jaeger: "In fact… I heard there's a legend that if a man lays eyes on her, he's supposed to gouge them out as punishment. No idea if that's true though."
Luo Hao: "It's true. They deserve it. You should have read my profile by now, Saint Jaeger. I trust that when we meet across worlds… you'll be prepared."
Sakura Tosaka: "...WHAT?! That's so scary!!"
Uchiha Miyuki: "Holy shit! Saint Jaeger she's straight-up talking trash to your face—do something!"
Nerona Jaeger: "Honestly… what can I say? We'll just have to wait and see."
In the real world, Jaeger narrowed his eyes, quietly watching the messages stream across the chat interface.
He didn't mind.
Not everyone would respect him. Some people were simply used to standing above others—because of strength, status, or legacy. And honestly?
He understood that.
But understanding it… didn't mean he'd let it slide.
"When the time comes…"
"I'll make sure she receives a proper Celestial Dragon welcome. With my own brand."
A quiet smirk played at the corner of his lips.

Esdeath: "Godslayer, huh… So this is the world you mentioned back when Jaeger obtained the Hand of Hermes. Sounds promising."
Esdeath: "Excellent. I've always planned to slay a god myself someday. I imagine the experience will be… deliciously satisfying."
Luo Hao: "Esdeath, is it? You're welcome to try. But if you fall in this world… I won't mourn you.Nor will I waste time avenging you."
Esdeath: "Hmph. No need. If I fall… it only means I wasn't worthy. I accept that fate without hesitation."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Wow~ Luo Hao-sama is so straightforward. First Jaeger, now Esdeath... She just tells it like it is, huh? No filter at all."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Of course, I'm sure it's all said with the utmost respect. Right? Right…?"
Uchiha Miyuki: "I mean, it's not trash talk if you say it elegantly. It's called diplomacy."
Nerona Jaeger: "..."
Esdeath: "..."
Nerona Jaeger: "…Miyuki, remind me again, do you want to die or are you just flirting with death professionally now?"
Nerona Jaeger: "Though I'll admit, it is impressive how you managed to fan two fires at once and still pretend to hold the water bucket."
Esdeath:"From where I see it, she didn't disrespect anything. More than that… if she had offered help, that would've been suspicious. I wouldn't have liked it either."
Uchiha Miyuki:"W-Wait! I didn't mean it like that! I was just… just… you know—commentating!"
Uchiha Miyuki: "Yeah! Like a neutral observer! Background narrator! Definitely not throwing shade or encouraging anyone to throw hands!"
Yamamoto Mei: "Shut up, Evil Uchiha."
Yamamoto Mei: "Alright, alright—everyone calm down. We're all acquainted now, so let's try acting like friends for once, yeah?"
Yamamoto Mei: "And instead of murdering each other in the welcome thread, maybe check out the new chat group features. They look important."
Yamamoto Mei: "@Luo Hao — don't forget your newcomer reward. Everyone gets one."
--
Luo Hao raised an eyebrow.
"A reward… simply for joining?"
She glanced at the group's pinned announcements—and sure enough, her profile now had a blinking icon labeled: [Unclaimed Newcomer Reward].
Curious, she tapped into it, and scanned through the list of rewards previous members had received.
— Authority of the God of War
— Perfect Goddess Training System
— Heroic Spirit Embodiment & Infinite Mana
— Time Stop
She let out a quiet, amused breath.
"Fittingly absurd."
As a Godslayer, Luo Hao had long since seized the power of her enemies—divine authorities carved from fallen deities. Why would she envy a handful of multiversal trinkets?
She wouldn't.
At least… that was the case until she saw Jaeger's entry.
— Hand of Hermes
— Hercules' Belt
— Chaos Dragon Leviathan
Her expression subtly shifted.
"...He acquired a power equal to a Godslayer's Authority… without even slaying a god?"
His world—One Piece—was clearly far less divine than hers. And yet, with the Hand of Hermes and those treasures, Jaeger had carved out a force that not only rivaled hers…
It might even surpass it someday.
"Interesting. This group is no ordinary gathering."
Of course, she wasn't going to take back her sharp words to him earlier. Why would she?
She had no reason to believe she stood beneath him.
Silently, she issued the command in her heart:
"Claim reward."
[Reward Claimed Successfully]
[Obtained: Enhancement Core]
"...Huh?"
She blinked. A brief pause.
Then her expression darkened just slightly.
Meanwhile, in the chat group, Jaeger and the others had begun examining the newly unlocked systems.
[System Update]
New Feature #1: Gift Box System
Members can now send items (non-living) to one another using Gift Boxes.
New Feature #2: Mission System
Missions will be triggered based on world-specific conditions.
Rewards and triggers remain hidden. Expect the unexpected.

[Chat Group]
Yamamoto Mei: "This mission system might be the key to traveling between worlds. But we'll have to wait for one to trigger before we fully understand it."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Hooray! Finally—multiversal tourism is open!"
Sakura Tosaka: "That tone… Miyuki-san, you sound exactly like my sister when she's planning something not quite good."
Esdeath: "Wonderful. After inheriting the God of War's power, the world of Akame ga Kill is too fragile for me now. I need stronger prey."
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Yeah, I'll pass. I'll stay here and write, thanks. But do livestream your travels—great material for a light novel."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Count on it, senpai! I'll get the angles, sound, and maybe a few explosions for dramatic effect."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Anyway… what about Luo Hao? She must've claimed her reward by now, right?"
Luo Hao: "Picture."
True to her word, Luo Hao posted a screenshot to the chat group:
[Newcomer Reward: Enhancement Core]
[Effect: Allows the user to strengthen abilities, bloodlines, items, and equipment—for themselves or others.
Successful enhancement permanently boosts level and effect.
Failure results in permanent damage to the target.
Uses: Unlimited]
--
Uchiha Miyuki: "Ah… that…"
Sakura Tosaka: "It… does sound great?"
Esdeath: "Actually, infinite enhancement could be overwhelming—if you're lucky. If not... well, collateral damage makes things fun too."
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Pfft—wait a second. Isn't this just the same scammy enhancement system from every pay-to-win online game?"
Yamamoto Mei: "Exactly. It even has the 'permanent damage on failure' clause. Classic gold-sink design. Whoever programmed this system… was a menace."
Uchiha Miyuki: "@Luo Hao — headpats for you. Don't be too sad. Who knows? Maybe your RNG luck is so cracked you'll break the system and become the enhancement goddess herself!"
Nerona Jaeger: "…Enhancement with unlimited attempts and permanent risk? Use it well, and you're a legend. Use it wrong, and you're a cautionary tale."
Nerona Jaeger: "Just don't use it on yourself right before a fight, Luo Hao. I'd hate to win by default."
