Evelyn turned toward the source of the sound, only to be met with a completely unexpected sight.
Right behind her, a young girl —who she assumed was a trainee— had fallen to the floor. If Julian hadn't pulled her toward himself, the girl would most likely have crashed straight into her.
She had fallen hard enough to make a loud noise that echoed through the practice room. It looked like the girl had hit her head on the floor.
Just as Evelyn pulled away from Julian and moved to help her, she was forced to turn back when another trainee, standing to their right, spoke up.
"Damn it, how else can I explain this to you? Are you dumb or what? Is it really that hard to do what I'm telling you to do?!"
The blonde young woman standing to their right shouted at the young girl on the floor who was holding her head, then kicked her. The young girl writhing in pain on the ground began to cry silently when she was kicked.
