The classroom at the words of the teacher, all reacted differently to this new piece of information, some reacted to it with quite apperant fascination in their eyes, others looked at the teacher in disbelief as if he was telling them that the earth was flat or something like that .
But those were the reaction of those who were aware of the ranking system of the Saviors, but those who weren't knowledgeable about this sort of thing, looked bewildered at both the teacher and the other classmates of theirs .
I didn't no much about the ranking system of Saviors, other than that The man who supposedly my father was a high A rank Savior in the Japan branch of the White Knight Order, but i can tell from the tone of the teacher and his words, that whoever this guy was, this feat of his will be labeled as history in the school from now on, he maybe even be hailed as a legend later on .
I was intrigued to know who was that guy, but also felt a bit perplexed by the description given by the teacher, after all i too took down a Metaphysical, much much weaker than the sea monster from before, but still i dealt with that monster alone, so finding that there was someone else capable of doing such a feat caught me by surprise, i also was wondering about how much powerful a C Rank Savior compared to us, so i couldn't help but become interested and looked at the teacher intently .
The moment the teacher words fell was like the spark of a huge disturbance, but those words of his weren't the end of this, but merely the start of it .
He touched the screen and another video was at display, the video at display was cut short only a few seconds of its original length, why was i able to tell .
It was because it was literally me in that short video, it was displaying the encounter i had with the Metaphysical at the mall .
It was edited to show only the scene where i stood in front of the monster and the moment it decided to attack, it was completely obliterated and turned into a pool of blood, the whole class gasp in shock excluding two people the wine colored hair girl from before and the guy behind her named Moroha, i myself was gasping in shock at this turn of events like all of my other classmates, but the reason for my shocked reaction differed slightly from there .
As the scene in the screen ended, one classmate after another began to cover their mouths, they were mostly girls, but a few guys were feeling nauseous too .
I couldn't blame them, the scene was indeed chaotic and in more than one way disgusting, the teacher just said that we Saviors tends to triumph over the Metaphysicals using the advantage of numbers, so them seeing me in the display slaying one of those horrifying creatures in less than a second, gave most of the people present quite the shock .
I on the other hand was shocked due to not expecting this video of mine to be displayed like this here and now, luckily the school had taken me in consideration and didn't display the whole video, i felt weird at the whole setting that the teacher provided, but i didn't make much of it .
The other reason to my shock was due to what was this entailing, i was the C Rank Savior in discuss, no matter whether i understood what that even mean or not .
I was looking at my desk in bewilderment, then i raised my head as to ask the teacher about what the C Rank Savior even mean and how it benefit me, but the moment i raised my head i was met by almost the gazes of the entire class falling on me, the moment they noticed my gaze fixing on them, they all shifted the direction of their gaze to the teacher in front .
I didn't dwell much on this and was going to ask, when suddenly an angry childish voice sounded from Satsuki next to me, saying :
Hey, don't ignore me .
She said this in the current tensed atmosphere, as if she was dying to be berated and if that was her goal, then lucky for her, she got her goal achieved .
The moment her voice fell an uproar erupted in the classroom berating Satsuki and even going to the lengths of insulting her personality as being arrogant and conceited, some began to curse that they weren't interested in knowing her, not to mention following her, some reminded her to have a bit of intelligence and read the room, all sort of aggressive comments went to her way .
She looked like she was about to cry her eyes out as huge drops of tears were beginning to accumulate in her aggravated eyes, the berating only stopped when they saw me standing from my desk, i myself didn't know when or why i did so, it was an impulsive action, the scene become quite once more, i looked at the teacher and found that he too was in trance of how everything was going, luckily another person interfered and to some extent helped in easing the tensed situation a bit, Haimura Moroha .
Reminding the teacher that we hadn't still introduced ourselves and that we should hurry up and do just that, the teacher agreed and even with the tensed atmosphere, one by one students began to introduce themselves and say their class number like how Ranjō Satsuki did, but without that special attitude of hers .
The girl mentioned was currently staring affectionately at Moroha while also stealing glances at me while giving all sorts of strange looks, the classmates introduced themselves one by one and through there simple introduction an amusing scene that lifted a bit of the heaviness in classroom .
The wine colored hair girl was berated by Satsuki for being a shameless woman and doing obscene things to her brother, but the woman that was being berated was actually sleeping all along, so she probably didn't hear much from all the words said to her which agitated Ranjō Satsuki even more .
But after the amusing scene ended, i raised my guard up a bit at the wine colored hair after she finished introducing herself and finding about her identity, allowed me to understand a lot about what happened before, the girl introduced herself as Urushibara shizuno .
The name Urushibara was what really caught my full attention, after all that was the family name of the woman who married that bastard father of mine, she probably know about it and that was the reason she was interested in asking me those questions earlier, i better stay as far away as i could from her, there was no need to create more problems for myself, i still have to deal with the problems that already exist .
Then the turn was on Haimura Moroha and after that Satsuki tried to introduced herself once more, but the teacher hurriedly interfered and asked me to come forward to the podium and introduce myself in front of the whole class, i tried to refuse, but he played the card of me being the only C Rank Savior in the entire class and was beginning to make a great deal out of it, so me who wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible, made my way to the podium and began introducing myself :
" My name is Komurasaki Ryuu, i look forward to work with all of you and no i'm not a foreign " .
I spoke in a neutral tone and those words were indeed mirrored my true intentions in wanting to get along with everyone in the class, but due to how neutral it sounded and my expression being a bit stiff due to feeling a little bit of discomfort from being under the eyes of so many people, my words came out and fell into their ears with a bit tint of contempt, they completely disregarded the joke i made at the end of my introduction which was what depressed me the most, at least that what they were able to get from it .
I saw most of my classmates sneering at me, but luckily seemed to have more social intelligence and were able to understand what i was trying to do, so some sneered at me and some began to look at me in a bit more friendly way and i was glad for that, after all it might not appear to be much, but i was for the first time feeling a bit welcomed here, i finished my introduction, then made my way back to my desk, waiving back at those who waived at me and discarding the glaring looks of those who were glaring at me, my mind was more occupied with the thoughts of what was going to happen from now on .
The awkward atmosphere eased for a little bit and the teacher then continued to introduce tell us more about the school rules and such and then the first day of the school adjourned, it was barely past noon, so we had much free time on our hands, the meals were served at the school hostels, the school have two separate hostels for boys and girls, some of the teachers had quarters in those hostels as well, it made me wonder about how much did the school spend to create all of this .
As i was contemplating on this, i completely forgot about the question i had wanted to ask the teacher about what my Rank implied, Tanaka-sensei had already left the classroom for quite some time now, as i was feeling a bit let down because of this i closed my eyes lamenting about my lack of focus and luck, a knock appeared on my desk catching up my attention and i woke up to see that it was Urushibara Shizuno standing there looking at me with the cold face as always .
But she currently held something in her hand, it was the black card giving to me by the butler in the morning, it must have slipped of my pocket just like my SIC, she put it in front of my desk and said something that had me fell off my chair, she said :
Here's your family card, Nii-san .
" Huh " !!! .
That was all that i was able to say before crashing down on the floor all of a sudden, no one pushed me or anything, i fell on my own and out of pure shock .
Nii-san, who was her Nii-san, i didn't even met her before this day, was she trying to play some kind of a lame joke on me, but with that cold countenance of hers, i doubt that she was even good with making such a joke, was she trying to play some tricks on me, what in the world was going on here .
I looked up from my falling down position on the ground and saw that she was gazing piercingly into my eyes, but i was able to notice the shadow of a slight curve in her mouth what i interpreted as a faint smile at seeing my reaction .
I tried to stand up, but as if all the strength in my body had vanished, i wasn't able to do anything as pulling myself together, i tried to speek but words kept on getting stuck in my throat, she did seem similar to that man, but was also quite different, her eyes weren't venomous but they had a ting of poison to them somehow .
We stayed like that for a few seconds, before i was helped up by the purple haired guy who was already making his way out of the classroom, Haimura Moroha .
Seeing me stunned like some sort of a statue, he couldn't help but ask me what was going on, yet i was still unable to muster any words to say, my hand pointed at the girl with a deadpan expression on her face, yet no words came out of my mouth .
He unable to understand what was i implying, he looked at the girl for an explanation if possible, but the girls seeing him looking at her, asked in a serious tone whether he had some free time at the moment .
The guy was weirded out by the question a bit, but still inquired about why was she asking .
She answered that she wanted to go on a date with him, leaving me who was still on the ground completely perplexed at what was currently happening in front of me .
The guy refused saying that he was penniless currently and that he also had no free time at the moment, since he will be going to look for a part-time job, something that i too intended to do, not wanting to count on the money on that damn card, wait this wasn't of any importance currently .
The girl was about to say something when suddenly a high pitched voice appeared and accused her of trying to steal her brother, the owner of the voice was none other than Ranjō Satsuki, she then began to come closer and gave me some weird looks, she probably had seen me when i was on the floor before, so she was probably wondering about that .
Then out of the expectations of everyone in the room, Urushibara Shizuno suggested for all the 4 people present to go for a double date, her treat, her words made all the onlookers who witnessed this scene feel as if their ears were buzzing or they had some sort of problem to, after all what they just heard was a shocking suggestion that can only appear in Manga or Novels, yet here they were witnessing it in front of them as a real life situation .
Her words shocked even the people participating in the conversation, me who still hadn't awaken from my initial shock, didn't react much to this absurd suggestion, more accurately that i wasn't able to react to such a suggestion and my silence was taken as confirmation .
Haimura Moroha directly refused saying that he won't be a gentleman if he let her treat him and was about to skid away, but was held in place by the excited Ranjō Satsuki who had heart shaped eyes and have fallen victim to one of her ludicrous fantasies, she was repeating the sentence " a date with Nii-sama ", Moroha seeing her like this agreed under one condition and that they won't go to any extravagant place, the two girls agreed to his words, since they came to an initial agreement they all simultaneously began to move towards the door .
All but one person, me who was still standing like a statue in the classroom, they looked at me and the girl Urushibara asked in a serious tone :
You ain't coming ? .
The two other guys looked at me, one with an inviting smile and the girl with expectant eyes, i wondered if Ranjō Satsuki determined that her date was her brother, then did she believe that Urushibara was asking me to be her date, a person who as per her words was also her brother, what will be the date of who and for whom .
I was about to go ahead and join them, when the other door of the classroom was opened and a guy voice appeard before his body even pass by the door, saying :
Is Motohama Ryuu here ? .
