Chapter 29 - chapter 29 Opportunity comes but once

"Let's talk about business then." Nil linger for a moment checking her expression before he continue.

"I want you to be selling things on my behalf. That is, you become my official trader." He said maintaining eye contact with her in order to detail change in her expression.

"I wouldn't mind your proposal, however you haven't mention anything that is in my benefit." She said after contemplating it for a couple of seconds.

"You get to sell all of my stuff, everything that I need to sell, and you get to keep 10 percent of the profit earned."

"10 percent won't do, I am the one that does all the heavy lifting while your only job is to bring the items you want to sell, I can only agree to your proposal if I get 50 percent of the profit."

She had wanted to increase the percentage more than that, but she knew the offer player Father is offering her is a one time offer. So she knew not o underestimate herself.

"What heavy lifting are you supposed to do? With my reputation all I need is to appear in advertisement once in a while and your shop will be instantly filled with customers, so it can be said that you don't even have to disturb yourself about shortage of customers."

'That is a valid point.' The lady found herself agreeing with Nil on that one.

"Moreover I am the one doing the heavy lifting here because I am the one that gets to go inside the wild, fight beast and bring their core, their hide and valuable treasures to you.

All you get to do is sit behind a counter all day while I endanger myself. Considering those points I can only afford to give you 5 percent of the total profit made on any items you sell for me."

Hearing that, the lady heart instantly skip a beat.

Not in her wildest dream would she have thought player Father will decrease the amount of share that will go to her.

"That might be true up to an extent but you have to know that I am the one that is going to pay for the shop, manage the shop, and also pay the workers I am going to employ because I will not be able to handle all the customers alone due to how many of them will sway here because of your reputation." She said pondering for a moment.

'Ah, and there she tripped.' Nil immediately found a way to exploit a flaw she just display.

She forgot one thing that is paramount while negotiating a deal. Never agree with what the other is proposing.

And she can't be blamed either way, she is only a novice at negotiating while Nil had thousands of years of experience at negotiating.

"Furthermore, I'll have to employ guards that will be guarding the shop, I'll also be the one spending money on AD campaigns and much more, so I can only settle for 25 percent of total profit made on all materials you bring, 25 percent no less."

She knew she has tripped at some point, so that's why she's proposing for 25 percent, 'That 25 percent alone should be enough to make me live my life to the fullest.' She thought not knowing what is coming at her.

And Nil? He just smile faintly looking at her.

"According to all the problems you are listing out, there is only one thing that is consistent— financial issue." Nil said adopting that demonic smile again before he continue.

"So instead of the 5 percent I'll be paying you with money instead, I'll be paying you with 100 tier 1 mana stone over week which I believe is enough to cover for all the expense you have mentioned.

And considering that you wouldn't be doing the campaign everyday, that will be one less of a financial problem which means more money to your pocket." Nil pointed out.

"No, player Father. I'll only accept a 5 percent share as a form of payment, the percentage share should be enough to cover the expenses I mention." She said reluctantly.

She knew that if he could pull out a hundred tier 1 mana stone in a week then that mean Nil should be able to earn over 10 times more of that profit in that week which is why she is trying her best to settle at a percentage share.

Furthermore if the business actually start growing outside of their current kingdom, reaching other Kingdoms, she knew the profit they will be earning will be over millions of mana stone in a month.

And she knew the business will actually grow to that extent because if how legendary a figure Nil himself is.

Nil might not understand the weight of how important his figure is yet among the players, but she knew. Which is prompting her to secure a more better deal for herself.

"It seems like we do not have a deal here.". Nil said walking directly out of her shop.

"I could easily get to employ at the minimum 5 people signing the deal with me with half the amount I just propose to you." Nil said which is really the truth.

One has to know that the earning of an average worker is around 30-50 silver coins per month, and one could exchange a single tier 1 mana stone for 10000 silver coins.

Now Nil is proposing to pay the lady 100 tier 1 mana stone which is a whooping 100000 silver coins, yet she is not settling for that and being greedier instead.

What more, the 100 tier 1 mana stone is a payment of a week, which means the lady will be receiving a payment of 400 tier 1 mana stone in a month.

Almost half a million silver coins.

Almost ten thousand times the earning of an average worker yet she is not accepting the deal.

"Your loss." Nil said almost exiting her shop not even bothering to glance back at her.

"Wait I'll accept the deal." The lady called out as she can't afford to let this golden opportunity walk away.

'Opportunity comes but once.' She mumbled to herself.

And Nil?

Well, he currently had an innocent demonic smile on his face right now.
