After entering the silent forest he met much less opposition than he had expected, much much lesser than the like of the silent forest in fact.
Only encountering a beast at the 3rd level of Liquid gathering realm which he swiftly overwhelm with his skill [Charge.]
He couldn't afford to make too much noise in the forest in order to avoid the trees attacking him.
There is a reason the forest is called the silent forest afterall.
So he had to tread the forest with as little noise as possible.
Sometimes later, Nil could be seen hiding behind a large black stone slab that seem to have been scorched yet it is not scorched.
But rather it is the one scorching itself due to the heat it is constantly radiating.
And the heat did no harm to him as he was constantly transforming the heat into harmless particles with the skill [Form] before the heat reach him.
And what Nil is hiding from are a couple of wolf, 7 to be precise, with purplish fur lazily transversing the area.
The wolfs are over a meter tall, with a sharp, thick canine protruding from their mouth.
Their claws not as long as that of the sand cats yet just as deadly, if not more.

Nil could see the profile of the beast,, however that is not all he want to see.
He concentrated more on the wolf, activating see using the skill to view/see more than the surface level information.
[Lore: Just a simple common wild wolf that was transformed after absorbing demonic energy.]
"Just like I predicted." Nil knew that the wolfs were transformed.
Though he could have simply tell that to Sheng, he did not because he knew Sheng won't believe him.
Furthermore, it will only make Sheng suspect him more, which is not what Nil want at all.
"Now for the hunting part." His eyes gleam as he said that.
Then activating the skill [Form] intertwined with [Emulate], he trick one of the wolf.

Using the skill [Form] he change the form of air and make it smell like Tulip fruit, the fruit which demonic wolf love the most, but he did not just let the smell drift all around.
No, that would be counterproductive.
He sent the smell to the wolf that is nearest to him.
When the wolf smell the air, it instantly look at Nil direction as it could sense the fruit right behind the stone.
Yes, the cat could not only smell the fruit but also sense it is behind the rock.
Nil have created a rock that is similar in shape to the Tulip fruit while using the skill [Emulate] to simulate the feeling of the real fruit being the rock.
And the wolf approach the back of the stone, seeing only the fruit being the stone it look around, but when it found nobody else it quickly bend down to gup the fruit.
It's eyes refusing to accept reality that the fruit is actually a stone, immersing in the illusion Nil have crafted instead.
Before the wolf arrive behind the stone, Nil have added an intent which make the fruit look like a real fruit on the stone fruit.
And with the wolf intelligence dropping more after succumbing to demonic energy, it brain couldn't perceive if the fruit is real or fake, only what Nil decide to portray.
After adding the intent, Nil have quickly activate the skill [TrickLight] which made the wolf not to be able to see him.
Before the wolf could react, he quickly use [Form] to make a sword which he without hesitation or delay swung at the wolf, splitting it's head clean off in one single strike.
"That's clean." He left himself a remarked as he threw the body of the wolf inside his inventory.
Not minding much, he adopted the same position, using the same tactic he trick another of the wolf to his direction.
But what is strange about the action of the next wolf is that, it directly ignore the small puddle of blood on the ground and attempt to eat the Tulip fruit.
Well, that is because Nil have use the skill [Emulate] to make the blood feel like it is a little puddle of water to the wolf.
But that is not the only skill that did the work, he had use the skill [Form] to break down the smell the blood is given into H20.
Completely erasing the smell of blood making the blood smell like water instead.
If he hadn't done that, the wolf would have found out that it is blood because they are very sensitive to blood.

The sword whisper as the head of the second wolf too parted from it's neck, blood gushing out increasing the puddle of blood.
"Onto the next."
Nil smile as he was enjoying the killing, what is making the killing less enjoyable is that he is not directly fighting the wolfs head on.
But his current tactic Is good too.

After killing all the 7 wolf Nil did not remove their dead body from his inventory, but rather head to Aurbloom kingdom with the bodies still in his inventory.
After entering the kingdom he went back to the inn he left Sheng.
After the receptionist confirm that he is really there to see Sheng, she finally allow him in which annoy him a little since he have to wait for more than 20 minutes.
"So what did you find out about the crazy beasts?" Sheng went straight to the point without dallying around as soon as Nil step inside the room.
"The beasts are not crazy beast, but are transformed after absorbing demonic energy."
