The maids in the mansion were all trembling like leaves, after nearly killing her husband, only for their matriarch to save him at the last moment.
Amelia Crimson, one of the strongest among the thirteen elders of House Crimson, was not always like this.
But one day, when she saw that slave boy, who, without his otherworldly looks, wasn't worth a dime. As if a switch went off in her head, she went crazy over the boy.
She began watching him whenever she got the chance, stalking him all day, noting his likes and dislikes with a crazed smile on her face. The woman even had scars all over her body. In desperation, she scribbled his name on her body.
Because of her indirect intervention in his life, the slave boy's life got a bit easier. After a, there's no way a weak boy could protect himself with such looks; someone was bound to be jealous.
She killed all of them, not even sparing the direct household's blood!
And as the rumours suggested, she was so obsessed with him that, undeniably, she rode his dick for three days straight—literally.
As soon as her husband got wind of it, he rushed to her house in a frenzy. That day, she crossed the limits (of her clan) and almost beat him half-dead; the matriarch had grounded her for a year because of this matter.
And no matter how crazy she was, she didn't dare disobey the matriarch's order, even being one of the most powerful cultivators.
She still listened to her because of the matriarch's unfathomable strength; even The Empress had to tread carefully when interacting with that madwoman
So back in the present, she had been grounded—for a year.
"THALIA!" Amelia screamed, and the shadows twisted around her and took the shape of a curvaceous woman.
"Find him–where is he, what is he doing, is he injured, or is any woman close to him? I NEED EVERY MINUTE DETAIL! Now go"
The shadowy woman nodded silently before vanishing.
Amelia's eyes fell on a knife a few meters away, with a maniacal grin spreading across her mouth before she picked up the knife.
…
Two days had passed in the Silverleaf forest.
The two had done nothing but hunt, eat, cultivate, and a bit of teasing, well, it was mostly Rahu teasing Vivianne, who occasionally blushed and pouted.
Now on the third day,
"Say, how powerful are the beasts deeper in the forest?" Rahu asked casually, while fiddling with a demonic core.
"Don't even think about it, the beasts deeper are probably even above the Origin realm," Vivianne said with a sharp glare.
Indeed, she had grown a bit fond of this shameless guy—only a bit, his demeanor, his brutal way of fighting, his 'above the heavens' arrogance, just everything about him was damn attractive.
"Oh ho, look who's preaching about safety, it's certainly not my dear Vivianne," Rahu teased. Instantly, Vivianne's neck turned crimson.
This almost became a habit for Rahu; teasing her, seeing her blush, was too refreshing for him to resist teasing her.
"S-shut up! And who's your dear?!"
"I wonder"
After a bit of playful banter, Rahu took out a storage ring. It was silvery-white in colour. Rahu willed his Dimensional Energy, and in a moment, a mountain of demonic cores appeared before him.
All varying in different sizes, shapes, Mana signature, etc. These are all the beasts they had slain while roaming the outer region of Silverleaf forest.
The Silverleaf forest was, in fact, vast, stretching across almost all directions except the far west and the north, limited to its borders.
From the north, anyone seeking to reach or travel to the central and southern region would've to journey through the west safely, or forcibly go through the central area of the Silverleaf, which harboured unseen horrors.
"Oh, by the way, how much are these cores gonna sell for?" Rahu's eyes twinkled like a star. For his eyes sparkled like that for only three reasons. Power, woman, and wealth.
"Wow, look at those greedy goblin eyes—wait, don't tell me you've never known any wealth." Vivianne audibly gasped, though her nasty smirk betrayed her character.
Rahu's eyes twitched, then a slow, knowing smirk tugged at his lips.
"Unfortunately, I don't have a mommy 'Master' spoiling me with riches"
"Bastard! My master isn't like that! And don't call her mommy, she may be slightly older, but she's still very beautiful," Vivianne hissed in anger. As if someone had just stepped on her tail.
"Oh, then I should definitely go after her."
"Wha–No, Wait! Why would you—She's my master, you pervert!" Vivianne said in a panicked tone. As if he would steal her mother from her.
"Even better"
Vivianne clenched her fists, glaring at the shameless, vile villain. She huffed and turned away, not willing to converse any longer.
"Alright, calm down, you know I was joking, and before you start blaming me, I just asked a simple question, and it was you who started the fight," Rahu said, letting out a laugh.
"And that nasty smile of yours also didn't help either."
"..."
Taking a deep breath, Vivianne calmed down, or her blood pressure would definitely spike into a danger zone.
"Indeed, with the amount we had collected, we could make a fortune out of it," Vivianne said in a low voice.
"How much?"
"It depends on the beasts; the higher the realm of a beast, the higher the pay. For example, the core of the Stoneface ape could fetch us at least 2 mid-grade mana crystals, and the Body Structuring Realm ones could fetch around 100-700 low-grade crystals," Vivianne replied.
Rahu then took a look at the storage and estimated that about seven-hundred cores were below fifth grade, two-hundred of them ranging from sixth to eighth, about ninety of them were ninth grade, and finally eight first stage Vital Core Realm beasts.
"Well, looks like I don't have to worry about food and place for a while," Rahu concluded. Then his eyes cleared, he looked at Vivianne seriously and said,
"Teach me the Sword Arts and their stages," he said, a bit serious.
Although it wasn't necessary because he was sufficiently skilled with the knives. And lastly, his advanced MMA-level skills were etched in his soul–literally.
Vivianne was surprised, she thought this arrogant guy was a 'I-know-everything-guy', taking a deep breath,
"Alright, but it's not gonna be easy"
