Chapter 36 - The Rising Sword

The whole sect was shaken when they heard that a disciple had passed all three tests in just four hours, and that too with only a 7th-stage Body Structuring Realm cultivation!

The tests were not as easy as Rahu made them to be; only 100 students had passed—barely, out of 1,400 participants.

And even more astonishing was the fact that he had mastered [Sword Intent]! A no-name, 7th-stage cultivator who appeared out of nowhere and slapped the disciple of the sect with his talent alone.

But none of that news was comparable to the last one! This one caused a huge uproar, especially among the male disciples.

The man was in a relationship with Vivianne! Vivianne Rivera! One of the goddesses of the Divine Sword Sect and the sole disciple of Elder Yueshan! That alone was enough to deter half the world.

The sect disciples were going crazy, especially the female disciples, upon hearing that he had the face and bearing of an Immortal, their pussies commanded them to search for him no matter the cost!

That…brings us to the present.

"I see, I should thank you, ladies, for this information, then", Rahu replied with a gentle smile and walked away.

The girls froze; that smile sent shivers down their spines.

"S-Shit, I have to go to the bathroom. It's urgent!"

"M-Me too!"

"H-hey, wait for me too!"

Making similar excuses, they all ran away.

"Heh, Rising Sword, huh? Look at this arrogant bastard. His ego was definitely boosted by a notch." Vivianne snickered; Seris too couldn't hold her laughter back.

"Alright, Seris, show me around a bit, and then we'll go somewhere quiet afterwards," Rahu spoke, ignoring their looks.

Seris, in particular, was flabbergasted. She, an Origin Realm cultivator, was hearing an order from a Body Structuring Realm cultivator! Outrageous!

But despite those rebellious thoughts, her legs moved on their own accord.

The trio walked a short distance before arriving in front of a hall.

"This is our Inner Flame Hall, where the disciples are taught to control fire with precision and exactitude."

Rahu looked at the hall; it was massive and filled with floating flames of different colours.

Disciples sat cross-legged before the flames, some trying to subdue, some to borrow, and some were even trying to merge with it. Truly strange.

"Heh, even experienced alchemists fear this place, controlling fire is, after all, the foundation of life and death in alchemy" Seris chuckled, seeing his astonished expression, it somehow made a sense of pride bubble inside her.

Nodding, he looked around briefly and decided to move past.

Soon they arrived in front of a massive pavilion.

"Rahu, this is the most important structure on our peak, it's called—The Seven Caudron Pavilion or The Main Hall."

Seeing the pavilion, Rahu let out an appreciative whistle. It resembled a seven-floor pagoda, each level hotter than the last.

From outside, flames could be seen flickering behind the windows.

"So, all the Alchemist disciples can use those floors?" Rahu asked, the bottom floor of the pagoda was feeling hotter than their previous upper floors.

"Good observation, the 1st and 2nd floors are for outer disciples who try to refine some basic pills and minor healing pills. The 3rd and 4th are for Inner Disciples who refine a bit higher-tier pills, such as core formation pills or elemental essence pills, etc."

"I see, thanks for the explanation, and where do you refine pills?" Rahu asked, a bit curious, as he didn't have in-depth knowledge of the grading system used here.

"Me? Heh, the 6th floor!"

The trio roamed for a while before finding a safe, secluded place.

"Vivianne, bitch, why didn't you tell me that you got a boyfriend?"

Seris asked, slapping Vivianne's juicy thighs.

"Ouch, you bitch, that hurts! And why should I tell you? Didn't you just kiss him right now?" Vivianne shot back, her tone dripping with venom.

"Wha–you cow! That was clearly your boyfriend who forced me!!" she shouted, feeling a bit wronged!

"Hmph! An Origin Realm cultivator can't push back a Body Structuring Realm cultivator now? Bitch please! Did decades of staying alone with a cauldron affect your brain that much?" Vivianne snorted.

This time, Seris fell silent and glared at Rahu, who was leaning behind a tree, carefree.

"Alright, alright, now shut up! Tell me how you two ended up together!" Seris said like a child, pulling Vivianne's arm and crying.

"Sigh, fine", Vivianne finally gave in. She recounted all the events from the Silverleaf forest and told them in detail to Seris.

"Wow, it's like a romance novel," Seris said, her eyes sparkling.

"Alright, that's enough. Seris, originally, we came here to inquire about something. Rahu finally stepped in to stop their bickering.

"Oh? And what is that?" Seris asked, her brows rising ever so slightly.

"Do you know the method to form a soul core?" Rahu asked, his tone serious. Seri's eyes widened for a moment before she looked straight into his eyes.

"...I do," Seris said in a quiet tone. Rahu's eyes widened; for a moment, he closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath.

"What do you need?" he asked directly.

"Can you give it to me?" Seris countered.

"As long as it's within my power."

'A soul core."

Vivianne's eyes widened in horror!

"You madwoman, do you even know what you're asking for?"

She snapped, demanding an answer.

"What is a Soul Core?" Rahu asked, but based on Vivianne's reaction, he could guess it was something beyond for the current him.

"...It's the [Spirit Seed]. When an Origin Cultivator breaks through, they transform this seed into [Soul Core]."

"You mean!?"

"Yes, it's something a Soul Tempering Realm cultivator possesses after breaking through from the Origin Realm", Seris nodded.

"And it's also one of the main ingredients needed in the process of making a [Vital Soul Core]"

Taking a deep breath Rahu nodded. This…was a bit of a problem. But it wasn't impossible.

"Rahu!! You cannot! Do you even know how strong a Soul Tempering Realm cultivator is!?" Vivianne screamed, frustration bubbling up in her heart.

"How many?"

Ignoring Vivianne, he looked at Seris and questioned. For a moment, Seris was almost convinced that he could bring those, but–

"...Two"
