Scene setting
Park Heights, Manhattan
Sanders residence| 5 AM
The apartment was cloaked in darkness, and the silent apartment had an orchestra of snores coming from the master bedroom.
The bed was packed with 4 bodies that seemed piled on the largest person. Bo was set as the girls' human pillow. Jane on his chest, Bobbi to his right and Faith tucked in his left side. The sleep formation was akin to a litter of kittens. But in a split second, that comfort would be broken by a sound that haunts all of humanity.
"Beep, beep, beep." Bo's alarm clock rang out to force its owner to carry on their day.
"Ughh–" he groaned through his waking body.
"B-Bo...turned t-that off now." Bobbi yawned into his shoulder.
"5 more minutes," Faith muttered.
Reaching for his phone, he turned the source off to his annoyance. "Ok...I need you guys ready in an hour as I pack up." He voiced out, moving off his bed, to start the process of luggage arrangement he thankfully packed the night before.
"...who's getting in the shower first?" Jane asked.
"I'm too tired to get up," Faith whined.
"Jane, don't take up half our time in the shower. " Bobbi accused.
"No guarantee Red."
As the girls got themselves ready, Bo was in his garage, placing the luggage in the SUV.
A, 2023 Hyundai Tuscan Hybrid. A car built for comfort and joyrides. "Everything is packed and what's left is the chaos."
"You mean bundle of love~" Jane purred, striding towards him in his charcoal coloured jacket that swallowed her form, grey gym shorts that enticingly hugged her legs and black slippers.
"You know it's gonna be really cold today?"
"You'll keep me warm~"
Faith appeared in sweats, and a grey college hoodie that read Brooklyn. "Bo...I'm sleeping the whole trip, wake me up when it's time to eat." Freckles stated before getting in the car.
"Jane, just get in the car," Bobbi said, moving to the passenger seat in baggy jeans, Bo's light blue long-sleeve shirt and Birkenstocks for comfort. "Bo just make sure they don't make us crash."
"I'll try my best." Turning to the Goth," Are you getting in or not Baby Bat?"
"Carry me." She crossed her arms in childish defiance. "Eep!" She yelped as he picked her up by her waist into the car. "This is not how I wanted to be held!"
"Too bad, now lower your head."
"Ughh–You bastard."
Scene change
Open road | 6:40 AM
The road stretched out endlessly as Bo drove, and a few cars kept him company as the early morning drivers were all backed up in the city. He looked in the rear-view mirror to see his sleeping duo as Faith and Jane were huddled under the shared blanket, freckles had her head on Jane's shoulder, which only made the scene more heartwarming as Jane's light purring at the contact.
"Softie." Bo snickered. Turning to Bo on his right, the older Redhead had gone to slumber in the headrest's comfort position.
"Yep, definitely a good start."
"Bo...get the cat, he tried to save Todd," Jane mumbled in her sleep.
"Todd's lucky I'm the her sacrificial lamb."
"Not lamb love, equivalent exchange ~" she responded.
"Go back to sleep witch girl."
"No." She teased.
"This is going to be a long trip."
