Chapter 21 - "The Agent of Destruction"

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The divine pressure in Beerus's voice was faint—barely released—but it was enough to make Frieza freeze in place, not even daring to breathe. His body trembled uncontrollably, instinctively bowing under that godly aura.

"P-please rest assured, Lord Beerus… I know exactly what to do now…"

Frieza forced down the thrill bubbling inside him, pretending to look calm and serious.

Yes, he feared the God of Destruction, Beerus. But now that Beerus had appointed him as his proxy, that meant… they were on the same side.

He could barely contain his glee.

After all, Beerus wanted to wipe out the Saiyans too—perfectly in line with Frieza's own plans. And Beerus was even more terrifying than he was; that cat would blow up Planet Vegeta over the slightest annoyance.

"Good. Then from now on, you'll serve properly as my agent."

Beerus's goal had been achieved. The oppressive godly energy faded as he turned to Whis. "We're done here. Let's go, Whis."

"As you wish, Lord Beerus." Whis smiled faintly.

He raised his angelic staff, and divine light burst forth—seven brilliant colors swirling like a living rainbow that wrapped around them both.

In an instant, the light vanished. Beerus and Whis were gone, as if they'd never been there at all.

The crushing terror that had smothered Frieza's soul finally lifted.

"God of Destruction's agent…"

From this day on, Frieza would rule the universe by divine decree!

No one—no matter who—would ever take that throne from him again!

"Ohohohohoho~!!!" Frieza burst out laughing, the sound echoing madly through the ship.

The two elite soldiers beside him exchanged uneasy looks. A terrible premonition crept up their spines.

Their entire worldview had just been shattered. Today, they'd learned that there were beings far beyond anything they could comprehend.

Lord Beerus—the God of Destruction! Even their mighty King Frieza had knelt before him like a dog.

He… he won't kill us, right?

Come on, we're elite warriors! Even if Lord Frieza wanted to silence witnesses, there's no way we'd be on that list! We've got a power level of 15,000! That counts for something… right?

They clung to that delusion.

But fate was not kind.

"My loyal soldiers," Frieza said softly, turning toward them, a smile curling on his lips. "Even Lord Beerus himself praised your strength. Truly, you've done well. But unfortunately…"

His crimson eyes flared with killing intent.

Dike and Saris went pale. They knew that look.

Instantly, they dropped to their knees, panic-stricken.

"L-Lord Frieza! Please—don't!"

"Mercy, my lord! I didn't see anything—I swear!"

They didn't fight back. They knew resistance was pointless.

"Oh? You're quite perceptive," Frieza chuckled. "I hadn't even said anything, yet you already knew I meant to kill you to keep my secret. Truly, you understand me well."

He smiled—sweetly, almost kindly.

That cat-and-mouse thrill was something Frieza never tired of.

For a split second, the two thought they might have survived.

Then twin beams of energy shot from Frieza's eyes. In less than a hundredth of a second, both beams pierced their hearts.

Two elite warriors with power levels of 15,000—erased without mercy.

"I don't mind subordinates who can read my mind," Frieza said coolly, brushing invisible dust from his glove. "But if you realize my intentions and still cling to false hope… then you have no value to me at all."

He sighed faintly. "Fools who can't read the room. Really, Zarbon and Dodoria understand me so much better."

His gaze swept over the rest of the crew.

Everyone swallowed hard, terrified.

They had seen him kneel before Beerus. That meant only one thing—none of them could be allowed to live.

Blood splattered across the control room. Limbs and organs littered the floor, the stench of death thick in the air.

It was carnage—utterly merciless.

To Frieza, though, it was nothing unusual. If anything, it stirred his bloodlust.

"Since Lord Beerus himself has ordered it," he murmured, wiping a speck of blood from his cheek, "I suppose I'd better speed up the extermination of the Saiyan race."

He reclined in his hovering pod, the image of cold perfection, as if the massacre that had just unfolded had nothing to do with him.

Outside, soldiers began to sense that something was off and entered the cabin—only to freeze at the sight before them. Even hardened veterans of a hundred battles could not help but gasp.

Shock. Horror. Disbelief.

Frieza didn't give them time to recover. He had more important things to do—contacting his trusted lieutenants.

Once the cleanup was complete, new crew members took their stations. Frieza opened a comm link to Zarbon and Dodoria.

The plan to destroy Planet Vegeta had officially begun.

Before that, though, Frieza wanted every detail polished.

He intended to wipe out every Saiyan in one decisive strike—to erase even the possibility of that legendary warrior ever being born. And in doing so, he'd also fulfill Beerus's divine order.

Meanwhile, back on Planet Vegeta…

Night had fallen, deep and quiet. Harry, Bardock, and Gine finally returned home. None of them slept that night.

Too much had changed, too fast.

Raditz had already left. Kakarot had been sent away.

And in two days, Harry and Celari would have to escort Gine off Planet Vegeta as well.

Bardock's plan was sound.

He'd draw attention while Gine escaped with help. Few would notice a child with a mere 400 battle power leaving alongside two low-class support warriors.

Who would suspect them of fleeing?

Harry remembered something from the original history—the conversation between Gine and Bardock.

If they truly feared Frieza's wrath, they could have fled with Kakarot. But Bardock had refused, knowing that with their weak power levels, they'd be caught immediately by Frieza's forces—or even by King Vegeta himself.

And once that happened, there would be no escape.

"..."
