Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Differences in Ideas

Chapter 29: Differences in Ideas

The Family Guy world, Stewie's lab.

With Chris's return, time perception in this world reappeared, and everything returned to normal.

Chris looked at Stewie, who was still the same as when he left, wiped the blood from his lips, and handed over the canister containing the dinosaur embryos.

But in Stewie's eyes, Chris suddenly changed his posture and then appeared in front of him like a caveman, drinking blood and eating raw meat.

"Hey, what's this? Is it the cure you got?"

Compared to the fundamental principle of Chris traveling through time and space, Stewie was more interested in what Chris handed over.

He always felt that this thing looked familiar, as if he had seen it somewhere before.

Taking the Barbasol can, Stewie fiddled with it a few times, then the bottom of the can opened, revealing a test tube containing a dinosaur embryo.

Seeing this, Stewie instantly remembered where he had seen it.

"Oh my God! You went to the Jurassic Park world, right?"

Stewie jumped up excitedly, holding the dinosaur embryo, then asked Chris, "Tell me quickly, is the T-Rex in there super fierce, and are the Velociraptors really cunning?"

"Oh my goodness! If I had known you were going to Jurassic Park, I should have gone with you.

If I could see those dinosaurs with my own eyes and take out that annoying kid, I would be so happy."

"What?"

Chris suspected he had misheard; he seemed to have heard Stewie speak his inner thoughts just now.

When he watched the movie, he was annoyed by those two kids who kept screwing everything up.

They turned on the lights to attract the T-Rex, ran around blindly after being discovered by the T-Rex, and were slow and clumsy when climbing fences to get away.

Most importantly, when the Velociraptors were ramming the door, the girl was somewhat useful, knowing how to operate the computer to unlock the door.

But the little boy just stood there like a deer in headlights, not even knowing how to hand a gun to Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler.

At that time, Chris was really so frustrated he almost had an aneurysm.

After he traveled there this time, he was even prepared to teach those two kids a good lesson when he met them.

Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time in the end, and he didn't get to see them.

However, Chris didn't expect that Stewie actually had the same idea as him, which really made Chris see him in a new light.

"Oh! Don't look at me like that, I know you wanted to do that too, right?"

Stewie looked at Chris with a sly smile; from Chris's expression just now, he had already seen that Chris had the same idea as him.

So Stewie followed up with, "So did you deal with that kid? I know you don't kill people casually, but you must have taught him a lesson, right?"

"Uh~"

This question made Chris a bit unsure how to answer, so he could only lower his head and pick at the dried blood scabs on his body.

"No way?! You didn't do anything at all?"

Seeing Chris delay in answering, Stewie was a bit incredulous, then complained, "You're not getting soft, are you, Chris!"

"Don't tell me your noble essence as a dimensional traveler couldn't resist the corruption of my idiot older brother."

"No, that's not it. I just didn't run into that kid, so I didn't have a chance to deal with him. If I go to that world again next time, I'll definitely knock some sense into him."

Stewie breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Chris explain the reason.

After all, he didn't want to lose this fun dimensional traveler friend. If this guy was corrupted by Peter's boring essence, he would be devastated.

It wasn't easy to find such an interesting person; he couldn't just lose him like that!

Chris, however, didn't know what Stewie was thinking. He thought Stewie's focus was on having the opportunity to fulfill his desires.

He had no idea that Stewie cared that his soul essence had not been corrupted by Peter.

"Then it seems I need to start manufacturing a co-traveling device now, so that next time you travel to that world, I can go with you and see those dinosaurs.

Oh, and also, I can personally deal with that kid. He actually got to face a T-Rex; I didn't even get that chance."

Listening to Stewie's monologue, Chris finally realized that Stewie's thoughts were still different from his.

He was just a little annoyed by the kid screwing things up, but Stewie was jealous.

One can only say, that's very Stewie Griffin!

However, this can only be seen if he can travel back in the future. What Chris is currently concerned about is whether Stewie can handle the reverse engineering of the dinosaur embryos.

"You can take your time with that. Right now, can you help me examine these dinosaur embryos? I've found that this dinosaur meat can satisfy my body's needs. Can you help me clone and produce some?"

"Oh? Let me see."

Hearing what Chris said, Stewie immediately had an idea, but he still needed to verify it with instruments.

He walked on his short legs to his workbench, then took out an embryo test tube, opened it without hesitation, and directly put the embryo into a container.

Under the detection of scientific instruments, it wasn't long before Stewie obtained the data from these dinosaur embryos, and even incidentally analyzed the genetic technology that Chris had been longing for.

"Oh ho ho ho! This approach is very interesting; this is how gene splicing technology is completed."

"You finished it that quickly?"

Chris heard Stewie's excited voice, curiously gathered around to check, and then found Stewie grinning wickedly at the genetic sequences he couldn't understand.

After grinning, Stewie turned around and busied himself with other work, while explaining to Chris, "Not yet, I've only just analyzed the technology. To apply it practically, I still need to make some modifications."

"Is it because the cosmic laws are different, and you need to adapt it to our reality?"

Chris thought about the settings in the various sci-fi novels he had read and asked casually.

Then Stewie turned his head and looked at him with a surprised gaze, as if he didn't understand how Chris would know such things, and then explained:

"What you're talking about only happens between different multiverses, but this genetic technology was also developed in the Earth multiverse. As long as there's a world with Earth, it can basically be used directly.

Even if some supernatural elements appear to affect it, it can be used with a few simple modifications. So right now, I'm just manufacturing some equipment necessary to use these technologies, not adapting them to different physics."

After listening to Stewie's explanation, Chris became even more confused. He didn't quite understand what Stewie's concept of the multiverse was; it sounded different from what he understood.

"Um... what's the structure of the multiverse? Why does it sound like, from what you're saying, that any universe with Earth is part of the same multiverse?"

Unexpectedly, Stewie stopped what he was doing, then took out a tablet and handed it to Chris, saying, "This is my own summarized cosmic theory, which is enough to explain the situation in our region. You can read it yourself; don't disturb my work."

With that, Stewie turned around and continued to manufacture the required equipment, while Chris squatted down nearby, quietly studying some cosmological concepts.
