The young man still kept searching frantically all over the place, gathering most of the stuff he needed in a rush and sometimes standing still as if in deep thought, Adam just silently waited for the young man to leave.
Adam could feel the jumbled emotions of the fello and didn't dare reveal himself not knowing what could happen.
This person looks like he been through a lot, I wonder how his sister is doing.
Adam thought this with a hint of worry for the young man, the intense grief, fear and terror that the young man exhuded were gnawing at Adam heart , it was as though he could understand the person's emotions like some sort of psychiatrist
Adam just stayed silent where he was he didn't dare do anything that could reveal his presence, he would only appear as an intruder that invaded his home and Adam didn't want any problem with a person in such a state.
it could lead to an uncomfortable and awkward situation.
Adam quietly remained where he was, waiting for the person to leave as the guy was clearly planning on doing, as he was packing essentials belongings into the suitcase Adam had seen the moment he walked in the room.
The guy wanted to calm his jumbling emotions but it was evident that he had gone through quite an ordeal as he frantically place stuff after stuff into his suitcase.
A few minutes after the young man left the scene looking back at what appeared to be his home with a sad expression, the guy stood still for a few seconds before turning his back to leaving the place.
Adam still stayed in the wardrobe until he no longer heard footsteps.
He waited a few more seconds—just to be sure—before slowly opening the wardrobe's door.
The hinges slowly creaked, the soft sound echoed in the now emptied room. Adam stepped out carefully, his eyes re-scanning the space the young man called home. The half-emptied drawers, scattered clothes and the sense of warmth of someone who had just been here.
Adam could almost feel what it would be like to live here, and from the young man emotions and behaviour… it all painted a picture of a home uprooted too quickly.
Adam let out a small breath he didn't realise he'd been holding.
He must have lived here with Aurore Lee. discerning from the amount of stuff of his was here .
Adam had no doubt in his mind that person he that had left had some relationship with aurore lee.
After observing the young man state and behavior, Adam had a much believable theory of what happened to the village.
There was some sort of disaster that involved the massive giant with numerous heads and arms he had seen at the mountain peak, it might have also cost the lives of some people in the village.
but what made Adam confused was that if there were casualties why wasn't there any corpses around the village. There were non in sight. And it also appeared that the disaster occured in a specific area not the entire village as he could see building in perfect condition.
Adam couldn't think of a suitable explanation as he gave up the thought and focused on the book the young man had left behind.
If the person was in a rush to leave this place I should too.
Who knows what could happen if I stayed here any longer.
Adam quickly grabbed a couple of the books that was left in the place , he glanced through the cover page and read them
Bible of the Eternal blazing sun, God of steam and machinery, and some other books that seemed to belong to Aurore Lee as well as some other books Adam didn't care to learn their names .
He also grabbed some other things and placed them in a mini bag that was laying around in the room.
After doing all of this he went out the front door and went down the stairs.
He slowed walked around through the ruined city with the bag on his bag . Keeping an eye out for anything out of the ordinary.
A few steps towards the throny wall , he mouth was left agaped by what he saw , a sense of disgust and horror as he saw a large blob of flesh and blood that now stood at the exit of the village .
