A lot of people seemed to have complaints to make. And despite that, they came to check the stream out anyway.
Cane had already titled his stream as 'Getting Carried by an Old Friend,' so people were just complaining for the sake of complaining.
[HaremKingXXX: Oh wow-! Isn't that avatar… Dani? Isn't she ranked 25 in this server and top 5 priestesses? Since when did you become friends, Cane?]
Cane looked at the question before he addressed his stream.
"Everyone, welcome back. Today, I have an old friend of mine helping me out. Dani, come say hello."
Cane asked, and Dani skipped over to him. He had his voice modifier already on, which made his voice sound like a female.
"Hello, everyone-! It is I, your cute and moveable Dani. I am here to help out my friend not suck anymore, so wish me luck."
Cane wanted to gag at the cute gestures Daniel was making toward the stream. But the audience was eating that reaction up.
That was as good a reaction as Cane could hope for, and he went back to check on the dungeon information.
[Dungeon #54 - Boss Monster Tarantula (Lvl 40)]
It seemed to be a standard dungeon with nothing much to show or no additional passages. He even made sure to check with the operator, but there truly was nothing.
Once he was sure about what to do, it was time to head in.
"Dani, hurry up. We are entering the dungeon now."
Cane called out toward his friend, and Dani made a pouting face.
"Awww-! Do I truly have to come with you? I really want to be here… fine, don't give me that look. Sorry chat, I need to go now."
The chat started to complain that Cane was being unfair, but he also knew that they would freak out if they knew that Dani was really a male.
So he chose to keep quiet and head inside.
The dungeon was dark, and Cane felt monsters' presence around him. He readied his guns to fight against the incoming wave.
"Dani, get ready. They're coming."
Cane warned, and Dani gripped his staff tightly. He was ready to fight these monsters.
"Let me provide you support. I will light up the way."
Dani assured before he used his spell. From the tip of his staff, a small light source floated and illuminated the whole dungeon around.
Hundreds of small spiders jumped the pair, and Cane immediately threw a small bomb toward them.

The system kept giving Cane these messages, but the exp provided to him was not a lot. Even with his 100X multiplier, he was in no danger of overleveling.
This was exactly what he wanted as well.
"Alright, we're at the boss room now. Are you ready to go in?"
Dani asked as he waited for Cane to catch up to him. Unlike Cane, Dani was seriously over-leveled for this dungeon, and he easily cleared any obstacle.
Cane followed him before he looked at the boss room. Taking a deep breath, he forced the door open.
"From here on, you should follow my instructions. Don't try and take my prey from me either."
Cane warned Dani, and his friend just grinned.
"Hmm, I don't know. I might get tempted if you don't hurry up… woah-! I was just joking. Don't give me that look. Fine, I won't interfere with you."
Dani promised, but his promise meant nothing to Cane. He was someone who was easily influenced by those around him.
"Actually, Dani, just stay out for now. I will be fine all alone."
Cane told Dani, only to see Dani frown and defend himself.
"No, don't do that. I promise I will be at my best behaviour. Hey, wait—"
In the end, Cane quickly entered the boss room before Dani could enter with him and triggered the boss. That caused any and all possibility of Dani being able to enter.
[Shura: LMAO-! Are you so afraid of a girl?]
[LazyWriter: Looks like Cane has a fear of Dani. I wonder what it means.]
It meant nothing, and the only thing Cane was afraid of here was getting his prey stolen.
But there was no reasoning with people online, especially when most of them were just trying to troll him.
Not that he had the time for this either. The boss monster of the room had spotted him as soon as he entered, and Cane gripped his gun tightly.
The boss jumped at him first, and Cane dodged to the side before he shot at the monster.
Boss Tarantula was big and heavy, and it seemed impossible for him to keep dodging as he was. Cane was able to land more than a few hits before his gun needed reloading.
The boss used this opportunity to launch a counterattack, and Cane had to dodge out of the way.
It gave the boss enough time to charge his ultimate move and attack Cane.
'Fuck-! This is bad. I need to get out of range.'
Cane ran toward the outer edge and barely managed to make it out of the way in time.
The boss monster became disoriented after that huge attack, and that was the DPS window Cane needed to launch the counterattack. He decided to use all he had in that small window, but the boss still survived with a sliver of its health.
