Character and World Description

Citizens of Mesa

Structure of the Kingdom

Mesa is governed by the Guildmaster, the highest authority in the kingdom. That person resolves crises, issues orders, and presides over strategy meetings.

These meetings are attended by the council, which consists of:

Vice Guildmaster – A master of runes and an expert in mine mapping and geological routes.

Three Elders

 One veteran miner

 One master blacksmith

 One renowned tool designer

Finance Head – Manages kingdom finances, forms contracts with blacksmiths supplying other nations, oversees profit distribution, and ensure fair distribution of money among citizens of Mesa. This role is traditionally held by women due to their meticulous planning abilities.

Trade & Distribution Head – Oversees trade routes, transportation safety, and secure movement of goods in and out of Mesa.

Magic Leader – A representative from Insaria who manages magical devices crafted jointly by mages and dwarven artisans to aid mining and forging.

Weapons & Craftsmanship

Dwarven weapons follow a tiered ranking system:

Ordinary → Rare → Unique → Epic → Mystical → Legendary → Spiritual → God-tier

A Master Craftsman (Tier 8) may be capable of forging Spiritual Weapons — tools that possess willpower and respond to their wielder.

The Sword of Unity, gifted to Queen Melania, is Danver's second spiritual weapon. The first was lost in the Great War.

Ores of Mesa

 Ores include : Oranium -> Ironium ->Sivernium ->Picanium ->Godlinium

Based on the sturdiness and rarity.

Godlinium exists in three grades: Low, Medium, High.

Found where snow-capped mountains meet lava mountains.

Sparkling, with a distinct metallic sheen.

Extremely durable, resisting both intense heat and deep cold.

Used for Legendary, Spiritual, and God-tier weapons.

High-grade Godlinium has not been discovered in the current age.

Legends say the dwarven ancestor once forged a God-tier weapon from it.

A Master Miner (Tier 5) can extract rare and dangerous minerals like godlinium.

Culture & Society

Both men and women freely choose their trades. Though dwarves often appear rough and scarred from heat and labor, they are loyal, warm-hearted, and fiercely protective of their own.

Their staple food is a pie obtained from orange plant called Pumpie.

Lifespan: 500–800 years

Appearance: Shorter than humans, muscular builds, heat-hardened skin, and common forging scars. Characteristic feature includes a red coloured hammer on their wrists from birth, signifying their blacksmith occupation and their work in high temperatures.

From childhood, dwarves study theory until they are strong enough for real practice. Skills are improved through experience, but many secret techniques are passed down within families. Only trusted disciples or heirs may learn them.

Some artisans willingly share their skills — for example, Danver openly taught the Level 1 Dual Tempering technique, now used by most craftsmen.

Festival

Every two years, the entire dwarven kingdom of Mesa comes alive for the grand Forging Festival — a spectacular event where talented young craftsmen showcase their skills. It is one of the most anticipated celebrations in the realm, drawing envoys from Insaria, Morquine, Eleris, and Azeth to witness the brilliance of Mesa's rising artisans.

Realtions and Military

Though Insaria imposes heavy trade taxes and often exploits Mesa for its resources, the dwarves remain unbowed. Their strength is carved from centuries of hardship, and their pride is tempered like steel. They are formidable warriors, capable of defending their homeland with their masterfully crafted axes and blades.

Scenery

Mesa itself is a breathtaking land: slanted-roof stone houses, endless pumpie fields, and very few volcanic mountains rising boldly among snow-capped peaks. Fire and ice coexist here, shaping both the land and its people.

Ruler selection process

Leadership in Mesa is earned, never inherited. Their ruler — the Guildmaster — is chosen through an ancient trial left behind by their ancestor, the Great Master Craftsman. The trial is harsh and demanding, meant to test wisdom, endurance, and forging skill. Only the one who succeeds may lead Mesa, holding the position for sixty-five years.

Danver — Guildmaster of Mesa

Danver is a tough-looking dwarf with powerful arms and a scar beneath his right eye from the Great War.

Despite his rough exterior, he is deeply caring and unwaveringly loyal to those who respect him.

He is a calm person with a sharp mind for crafting magical devices, and he prioritizes the safety of others over personal gain.

Danver would willingly risk his life for someone he considers worthy of his trust.
