Magic and knighthood

Magic System of the different nations

Divine Magic — Blessings of Goddess Lunaris

Divine magic is granted through devotion to the Goddess Lunaris, the deity of light and purity.Practitioners—called Moruqine Priests—collect Lunaric Karma, a form of divine energy earned by acts of faith and goodness. When their devotion reaches its peak, a Golden Centre forms within them, amplifying their blessings.By chanting the Goddess's name, they can perform miracles such as:

Healing and purifying curses

Dispelling darkness

Creating divine potions and protective charms

Strengthening (buffing) the magic of others

Spirit Magic — Gifts of Eleris

Spirit magic originates in the lands of Eleris, where individuals undergo the Trial of Tribulation beneath the Great Tree of Life. Those who pass the trial form a pact with spirits—beings of natural essence and will. Each person receives a spirit whose quality depends on innate talent, purity of heart, and the strength of their spirit chamber.

No two trials are the same; each is sealed by an unbreakable pact between the spirit and the pact bearer. Those who succeed awaken a Spirit Thread, woven from their Spirit Core, binding them eternally to their companion.

Spirit Chamber: A sacred inner domain cultivated through disciplined Mana Meditation where the spirit core is formed. The stability and purity of spirit core determine what spirit can dwell within.

A person may bond with more than one spirit, though maintaining them demands immense discipline.

Elemental Spirits: There are numerous Wind, Fire, Water, and Earth spirits.

Advanced Spirits: Those who develop their spirit cores further can evolve elements (e.g., Water → Ice).

Monarch Spirits: Rare beings born once every 500 years—or upon the death of their bonded master, they are the monarch of other elemental spirits. There is a ranking among spirits.

Mythical Spirits: Spirit of Dragonia, a strong winged beast owned by the keeper of the Great Tree itself which ceased its existence upon the death of the keeper.

Arcanum Magic — Art of the Insarians (Humans)

Humans, or Insarians, channel Arcanum Magic, also known as Mana Craft, through disciplined mastery of their Mana Cores and Mana Spheres. Each person may develop up to three cores, each regulating up to eight spheres that revolve like constellations within the soul.

Types of Arcanum Magic:

Elemental Arcanum: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind.

Spatial Arcanum: Teleportation and dimensional bending — a secret art passed down only through the Imperial Lineage.

Substance Arcanum: Creation, duplication, deletion, and molecular manipulation of matter.

Dark Magic — The Dark Power of Azeth

From the volcanic lands of Azeth, dark magic feeds on the sacrifice of Volic Ores, mined deep beneath the molten rivers.Due to their rarity, Volic Ores are distributed by the Council of Azeth based on rank and achievement—only 1,000 stones per month per authorized mage. These ores resonate with their blood, binding themselves to their user's soul.Dark magic specializes in:

Curses

debuffing enemy magic (especially divine magic)

Strength enhancement for close combat

Necromancy is forbidden.

The Lord of Azeth holds command over all dark disciplines but is bound by the Advisory Council, forbidden from using the stones for personal gain.

Rune magic-

In this modern age, only a few still study Runic Magic, as it has become outdated—its once-complex forms now replaced by simplified and modified versions. The use of sigils and magical locks are remnants of this ancient art, practiced only by a select few across the kingdoms.

The Knights of Insaria — Practitioners of the Sword Art of Living

In the kingdom of Insaria, the knights uphold an ancient and sacred discipline known as the Sword Art of Living—a traditional sword form said to embody both the will and spirit of life itself.

This art was rediscovered by the Imperial Family during the excavation of the Great Ruins of Insaria

The Sword Art of Living is not merely a combat technique but a philosophy that teaches its practitioners to harmonize body and weapon. Through relentless practice and discipline, knights gradually awaken what is known as the Engine Core—a manifestation of accumulated effort and spirit. Each Engine Core symbolizes the knight's journey, forged through years of devotion and tempered by battle.

Few among these knights are capable of blending magic and swordsmanship—such rare individuals are revered as Magic Swordsmen.

Ancient lore

The ancient scriptures preserved by the priests of Morquine tell of primordial runes — the first language of creation, said to be the Mother of all magic in this world.
