Chapter 7 - Tang Ya — Junior Brother, I Want You to Help Me Cultivate

"So that's how it is, just a spar between new students, huh? Then it's all fine — just a misunderstanding~"

Tang Ya clapped her hands, immediately believing Bai Zhou's words.

Then she looked at Huo Yuhao, gently rubbing his head as she softly advised, "Little junior brother, since the misunderstanding has been cleared up, from now on, you're all classmates, so you must get along well. We can take care of you, but we also can't break the academy's rules."

"Sister Xiaoya… I understand…" Huo Yuhao clenched his fists tightly, but his heart was filled with frustration.

Just moments ago, Tang Ya and Beibei had found him, wanting to stand up for him. He didn't think it was necessary to make a big deal out of it, planning to take revenge on his own later.

But then Tang Ya had forcibly dragged him over to Bai Zhou's dorm to cause trouble.

Although Huo Yuhao didn't want Tang Ya and Beibei to get involved, the feeling of being cared for was still comforting, so he hadn't stopped them.

However, he never could have imagined that Tang Ya's attitude would suddenly make a complete 180-degree turn. Just a moment ago, she had been vowing to make Bai Zhou pay the price, and now she was saying it was all a misunderstanding???

Beibei also had a head full of question marks, completely unable to figure out what Tang Ya was thinking.

"Sorry for disturbing you. We'll be going now~"

Tang Ya didn't linger at all, pulling Beibei and Huo Yuhao away directly.

"Xiaoya, what's wrong? You were clearly furious just now…"

In the corridor, once Bai Zhou had closed his door, Beibei finally couldn't hold back and asked.

Huo Yuhao also looked at Tang Ya in confusion, not understanding why her attitude had changed so drastically.

His Teacher Tang Ya obviously cared about him — so why did she suddenly back down…?

"I'm fine. I'll go back to rest first."

Tang Ya shook her head lightly, forcefully suppressing the unease in her heart. Then she went upstairs and returned to the girls' dormitory.

"Xiaoya…" Beibei's hand reached out halfway, but in the end, he didn't have the courage to stop her.

"Senior Brother Beibei, no matter what, thank you both for helping me this time… But from now on, things like this, I'll handle them myself. I don't want to trouble you anymore." Huo Yuhao looked at Beibei earnestly as he spoke.

"Yuhao, what are you saying? You're one of us, a member of the Tang Sect. No matter what difficulties you face in the academy, your Teacher Xiaoya and I will always help you."

Seeing how sensible Huo Yuhao was, Beibei couldn't help but feel a pang of affection.

After all, Huo Yuhao was just an orphan, with no one to rely on outside. He and Tang Ya were essentially Huo Yuhao's only support, so of course, he wanted to take good care of him.

"Thank you, Senior Brother, for your kindness. But I'll become stronger too. I'll handle my own matters myself." Huo Yuhao clenched his fists again, his young face filled with determination.

"Good. Senior Brother believes in you."

Seeing that Huo Yuhao wasn't discouraged but rather full of fighting spirit, Beibei finally sighed in relief.

Evening.

After Bai Zhou and Wang Dong had dinner, Wang Dong left first — probably sneaking back to the dorm to take a bath…

Bai Zhou, meanwhile, strolled leisurely around the academy. Sitting by Sea God Lake, he admired the evening glow in the distance, though his mood wasn't particularly good.

Perhaps he had come too early — being assigned to that old witch Zhou Yi's Class One was truly unpleasant.

After all, Zhou Yi was way too strict, and Bai Zhou honestly didn't know how he'd ever manage to skip her classes…

If he got the chance, he definitely planned to transfer to another class — at least then he wouldn't have to attend those boring, useless lessons every day.

After all, given Bai Zhou's current physical condition, ordinary training offered him no benefit whatsoever.

Even running a hundred laps around the field was no different from taking a casual stroll — a complete waste of time.

As Bai Zhou was thinking this, his mind suddenly stirred — he seemed to sense something. Tilting his head slightly, he saw a girl with a high ponytail standing behind him without him noticing — it was Tang Ya.

"Senior Sister, what brings you here?"

Bai Zhou raised an eyebrow, asking knowingly.

"Your martial soul… is it the Blue Silver Emperor?" Tang Ya plopped down beside Bai Zhou, gazing at him with eager eyes full of anticipation.

Earlier, she hadn't investigated properly before confronting him. But the moment she saw Bai Zhou, she'd felt her martial soul tremble.

After asking around to confirm, she was almost certain — but she still wanted to hear Bai Zhou say it himself.

"Mm, it's the Blue Silver Emperor — pureblood. I can feel your martial soul too, Senior Sister. Yours should be Blue Silver Grass, right?"

Bai Zhou smiled faintly, directly revealing his martial soul — a light blue blade of grass with faint golden vein-like patterns running along its leaves, emanating a strong aura of life.

"Blue Silver Emperor… it really is the Blue Silver Emperor…" Tang Ya's beautiful eyes widened, her heart pounding with excitement.

"Junior Brother, I have a presumptuous request… I wonder if you could help me with something…" Tang Ya forced herself to calm down, her eyes filled with hope as she looked at Bai Zhou.

"Of course. We're both Shrek students — it's only right that we help each other~" Bai Zhou smiled lightly, showing no arrogance, appearing very approachable.

This instantly made Tang Ya's impression of him skyrocket.

"It's just… do you have time tonight? I'd like to cultivate together with you…" As Tang Ya said this, her delicate face turned bright red — it was simply too embarrassing…

But she had no choice — this opportunity was too rare. She wanted to become stronger, to take revenge, to restore the glory of the Tang Sect. Yet because her martial soul was only Blue Silver Grass, her strength was too low — she could do nothing.

By chance, she had read in an ancient book that if a Blue Silver Grass martial soul cultivated together with a Blue Silver Emperor martial soul, their cultivation speed would skyrocket. And if they cultivated together over time, the Blue Silver Grass bloodline might even evolve, becoming stronger.

However, while Blue Silver Grass martial souls were everywhere, the Blue Silver Emperor was incredibly rare. Within all of Shrek Academy, there were many twin martial soul users — but not a single one with the Blue Silver Emperor.

Now that Tang Ya had finally found someone with that martial soul, of course she wouldn't let the opportunity slip away.

"So, what Senior Sister means is… you want to dual cultivate with me?" Bai Zhou's heart skipped a beat — he was a little surprised.

He had guessed Tang Ya might come to him because of his Blue Silver Emperor, but he didn't expect her to be this eager…

"Wha—what dual cultivate… pfft! Not that! I mean cultivate together! Don't get the wrong idea! It's just mutual assistance in cultivation!!" Tang Ya's pretty face turned crimson as she stammered incoherently.
