'Sometimes, strength comes into our lives when we least expect it"
Emma watched as all her years of hard work to build her home were washed away in just mere seconds. She couldn't even remember if she'd left Draken in the house because he was no where to be seen.
Draken had left the house again, but this time he'd texted her since she wasn't picking up his calls, but Emma didn't even have time to look at her phone.
He'd gone to visit his father at the hospital with Erick since everyone had left, it was the perfect opportunity. He ended up sacrificing his father and Ouracle, just for Emma and his other plans, he couldn't even face him properly although he was in a comma.
Figuring that Emma wouldn't be back so soon,he spent some time at the hospital, but after he got Shaun's call, he immediately left for Emma.
Mrs Walter threw all Emma's things out and even locked the place, leaving her kneeling on the ground.
"If you want the house back, give me my money Emma!!" She shouted while in the hallway before finally leaving.
Emma was speechless, she'd lost everything once again.
Draken rushed back and found her on the floor, looking distressed and lifeless. How did all this happen?
"Emma...Emma..." He called onto her as he knelt down Infront of her, but Emma at this point didn't understand anything anymore.
"I... It's all gone...all of it" she whispered to him.
"Emma.. " Draken wanted to speak but before he could even complete his sentence, Emma suddenly stood up and ran out of the building.
"Emma!! " Draken called out to her, chasing after her but she didn't bother to stop.
She ran towards the nearby bridge, and just wanted to throw herself in the sea to die but Draken wouldn't let that happen he caught her and tightly hugged her.
"Let me go! Let me die! Ken. It's all gone.. all of it" she cried...trying to free herself from him.
"No Emma, you can't die. I'll never let you go." Draken reassured her.
"Just hit me, take it out on me if it will make you feel any better and erase those thoughts of dying" For the first time, Draken Hunt was scared. Scared of losing her.
"Why? Why does it have to be me? Why do I have to suffer like this? I'm so tired of living a miserable life like this Ken, I've lost everything and everyone..." Emma cried more and more while hugging him.
Draken could feel her tears through his shirt but he wouldn't risk letting her go.
"Emma look....look at me" He finally gathered the courage to look her in the eyes because he felt like he was the one who'd been hurt, instead of her.
"Emma, you're not alone,," he whiper he tears gently caressing her face which was now all watery and red.
"You have me. I'm here for you, Emma, and I'll never leave you" headed, lifting her face to face his.
"Y.. you'll never leav...e m..e" she said through her sobbs clutching onto his shirt tightly.
"This husband of yours is stuck with you, whether you like it or not" Draken said, staring at her with loveful eyes.
"Thank you Ken,, it really means a lot" Emma replied, hugging him again.
"Silly girl, you still have to take care of me yet here I am taking care of you.." Draken whispered in her ear.
The sun was almost setting, and the bright light it gave off attracted Emma's attention.
"It's beautiful..and I'm glad you're watching it with me" she had calm down, and was back to her normal self.
Draken felt like kissing her there and then, but he was afraid he'd scare her even more.
"I'm sorry Ken, but we don't have a house anymore, the landlady kicked us out!" She exclaimed.
"Uhmm that's okay..I'll find us another better place to stay wife..."Draken said.
"But I really.. really wanted that house. It was my home and so many memories of mine are there. Ken, I don't want you to suffer like me..I'm worried about you, more than myself..." Emma's words kept on softening him.
She knew exactly what to say when he needed it, but didn't even realize how her words were affecting him.
"Don't worry, I'll help you get that house back if you really...really want it..but first...we should head to the hospital and get you checked.." Draken was already worried about her health more than his.
"But..you don't have to..." She wanted to decline but he left no room for her rejections.
"I want to...or are you defying what your husband says?!" Draken asked.
Remembering the last time she tried to defy him, he sweeped her off her feet and forcefully took her.
"Alright..fine, I'll go with you" she reluctantly agreed, as if she had a choice.
That was the only excuse he could use to get her out of there so that Shaun and Erick could do their work.
" Boss sure does love his wife a lot" Erick commented before they proceeded.
AT THE HOSPITAL~~
" Just some minor injuries doctor and you want to give me a hospital bed already??" Emma asked surprised.
Not only Draken, but even doctors were overreacting about her health. More like they were ordered to, since the hospital belonged to Draken anyway but Emma didn't know that.
" Ma'am, it's for your safety if you stay and take an IV drip for the night. Your injuries might attract infections" the doctor reported with hint of fear in his voice.
If he slipped up, Draken wouldn't let him off.
"Mrs Ken, will you seriously argue with a qualified doctor? " Draken teaingly asked.
"I suppose not,, but where will you stay? You can't be alone" Emma replied.
"This woman is something else, worrying about me more than herself,"
"I'll stay with you in the hospital, until you're discharged.
"Alright but my things..."
"I'll handle everything, you don't need to worry wife, just rest.. please nurse.. take her" Draken ordered the nearby nurse.
"I suppose, you know exactly what to do Doctor, I dont have to tell you...."Draken said to the doctor as soon as Emma was taken out.
"Yes Mr Hunt, Mrs Hunt is in good hands.."
